Fooling around like a Fool
The boy had no eyes. So to fix his predicament, he took his mommy's eyes and put them in his own sockets.
However, he couldn't see through his mommy's eyes either. How could it be? Perhaps his mommy's eyes were broken too. Such an unfortunate boy. Now he feel guilty for not asking his mommy before taking her eyeballs.
Why would he feel guilty? It is because that's called stealing and stealing is a bad thing to do. So as a good boy, he apologized for stealing and gave her eyeballs back to his mommy's dead unmoving body. It's always better to be honest if you ever do a mistake. From now on, the boy will keep that in mind.
But wouldn't it be better if he knew everything from the start like how to be a good person and difference between good or bad. If he knew that his mommy wouldn't have grown so mad that she stopped talking to him. It is, perhaps, his punishment for stealing.
He is just a little boy, he doesn't know any better. So to know better about the world that he lived inside. He just needed to go outside so he can discover and learn new things. Just like an adventure.
So he said goodbye to his mommy's unmoving unresponsive decaying body. It is time for him to learn about the world and be a better person so his mommy can forgive him.
So we all are definitely wondering, how would he be able to survive in this world filled with horrors beyond a child's imagination? Well, if we are nice and kind to everyone else. We can all live happily together without any agony or enternal damnation of our limited consciousness. And ofc, the boy knows that much about the world, he's not a dimwit.
So he decides to help whoever he finds in his adventures of this unknown world to be a better person. His first victims were the people of his own town.
The town's people were busy almost everyday of the week. They had no time for themselves at all. It really is terrible to have a job to pay for your livelihood. Such a bummer, thought the boy. He definitely have to help these people.
Wouldn't it be better if they didn't have to go to their jobs? Thus, giving the boy an idea. He stole legs of every single person of his town in a night. Nobody noticed the dark figure as it removed the concept of legs from individuals as they rest unknowing of the eldritch horror present right besides them in the night.
As the morning came, the screams of thousands filled the town which gave him to sign that he did the right thing. Now everybody had so much time to cry and pity themselves for losing their own legs. However, it shouldn't be described as if they lost some part of themselves. The boy removed the biological means itself from their lives. The legs that they knew from the birth had never occurred to these people after the boy's help.
In boy's mind he did a good deed. However, he doesn't want any reward for his help. He's a selfless and kind person. He doesn't help someone for something in return. He just wants to spread joy and happiness in the world.
Just like how he helped town's people. He wants to be like a hero who helps someone and leaves without telling anyone their name. That sure would be a cool thing to do, the boy thought. So he left towards his new destination.
Before his new destination though, he found someone who was suffering from pain. A man who looked like a dog. To an average eye, it would be a simple dog but to his dark empty eye sockets he could see a helpless man trapped in a dog's body.
So he did the rational thing and took the man out of the dog. The dog had disappeared and now it had become a man. A mangled body and consciousness of an abnormality that had belong to none of the known worlds. However, it is now removed so the significance could be poured into it by the omnipotence of the boy.
The boy felt happy to look at the man. The dog must have eaten the man or something along the lines of that. The man must be happy to be free now.
The distorted and grotesque body of the dog like man watched his creator. The dogman had no knowledge or how to comprehend reality before he took this form cause of the boy. The form before it's current one was pointless. A dust in the endless vast world but universally meaningless as everything else.
The boy is something far beyond the minds and existence. Even from the metamorphosis the dog that took place cause of the boy. The dogman couldn't comprehend why would a being such as the boy would do anything? The boy could reshape the world or end it on a whim without a reason.
The boy is a fool from the insignificant perspective of a dog. A Fool who doesn't understand or wants to understand. Or does the boy understand but choose to ignore all of it? He can't comprehend or even make slightest sense of it. The ability of knowledge is a curse. Thinking so far, yet, couldn't make out the words to describe the boy.
Isn't it frustrating? A normal dog became something abhorrent cause a boy thought the dog ate a man. The dog wanted to end this curse of knowledge and it's currently grotesque body. It wanted to end it's own miserable self. But it wouldn't make sense to do so.
A child is never given a choice by the parents if it wants to be in the world or not. It's the parents who bring the child into this horrible world. So it is...okay...to make those parents (gods) pay the price of doing such a conceited thing. The boy is the same and so-
However, one look at the boy's dark black empty eye sockets and the dogman's consciousness gave up. Also the boy liked the name "fool". So the boy will now be referred to as the "Fool".
The dogman broke form the inside from that wordless communication with the Fool. The Fool had done nothing but look at the dogman with its dark empty eye sockets (btw Fool could see without eyes so him stealing his mommy's eyes was an act of pure jealousy or greed) so what were the dogman's thoughts or questions towards the Fool's existence? In short, dogman gives up on making any sense of his current situation and the "thing" in front of him.
The dogman was enlightened by the Fool to become a significant being. But it broke the dogman's psyche after the dogman saw how miniscule it is when compared to the Fool. There's no mind in the dogman anymore. It is better to not know than suffer an eternity in the endless possibilities of meaninglessness. The dogman is back to being an insignificant being as it gave up on itself.
Now the dogman can even live with the town's people too, thought the Fool. All those town's people who have so much time on their hand, as they don't have to go to jobs, now will get bored all alone by themselves. There are children in the town too with even more time in hand and with legs too. They were free from the get go so the Fool never took their legs.
The Fool tells the dogman to go into the town and make friends. The dogman craves something unknown to its knowledge. Is this what he called hunger before his enlightenment? It desires flesh of a insignificant being such as itself for satisfaction.
And so, the dogman leaves towards the town to make friends. The Fool pats his back for doing another good deed. He's starting to understand so much about the world in only few days.
He wondered what else could he do to make this world a better place than before. Fool can't wait for the next chapter.
