The Terror of Terra!

"What an ingenious idea for a story: all the childhood beliefs, from the Tooth Fairy to Santa Claus to even J.C. himself are threatened with destruction by the most implacable force of all: a little girl. Indeed, once she stops believing in them (as most kids do) they will die, one by one. After all, it happened to all the old gods, and now the "new" gods are in danger of losing their place in the world. The story concerns a meeting of this group to determine their next course of action before Terra does away with belief and becomes a card-carrying adult. The story is somewhere between Gaiman's American Gods (which concerns a similar theme) and Monsters Inc., as it incorporates a healthy dose of humor to spin this epic theme. It's a lot of fun and I imagine has a lot of life left in it--I expect more chapters and development! My only criticism would be to develop the Tooth Fairy's narrative voice a bit more. Right now it sounds like a typical narrator, without any sense that this is a 'character' telling his story. Try to give his narrative voice more personality so that we seem to be in a room with him, and he is coloring the story with his own unique way of seeing the world. That aside, it's a great story and I'm very impressed with the concept."
