Prologue
One little soul is found to be parting from its body, escaping from reality. This is the soul of a girl who only lived 15 years.
‘I just died; my body appears to be going home like I asked, but where is my soul going? Where am I going to?’the soul wonders without an actual voice.
Away from the island the soul goes, way up into the sky, but, for some reason, it stops. As though some force is pushing on it, the soul begins to sink again, rejected from even going to The Gates of Heaven.
‘Am I going back? But, how?’the soul wonders.
In a flash, the soul is placed back into a body. It wasn’t just a body, but a body just like the one that just got carried off. The only difference between this new body and the last is that there are no wounds or marks to prove of the battle that was lost. The red eyes open, seeing the face of a young girl and an older man standing together and staring down at her.
“Looks like she’s coming around!” the man comments.
“Where am I...?” the girl who was once just a soul asks.
“This, my child, is Heroes Island,” the man says.
