Chapter 1

YEAR 2117

The SSK tried to save the world.

They failed.

Creatures I call “The Uninvited” arrived.

They wear human faces… and continue their massacres.

The government couldn’t stop them.

And here we are.

I’m alone at home, trying to protect myself from the Uninvited.

One evening, I heard three knocks at the door: “knock, knock, knock.”

I panicked.

I looked through the peephole.

A man was standing there.

He knew I was home.

He said he needed help.

His house had been attacked by the Uninvited.

At first, I didn’t want to let him in.

But he convinced me.

I said I’d keep an eye on him.

Then I went to sleep.

DAY 2

The man sat quietly.

Mornings are deadly cold.

No one goes outside.

But even by the evening, he was still calm.

Like nothing had ever happened.

He just stared at the wall.

It disturbed me.

I decided to kick him out on Day 3.

That night, someone knocked again.

A woman.

Please help me! They killed my husband and child!” she cried.

“Who did it?” I asked.

“The Uninvited,” she whispered.

“They’re after me.”

I was about to open the door.

The man inside stopped me.

He stuttered: ”w-w-window..."

I turned and looked.

That thing...

It was staring at us through the glass.

Darkness surrounded it.

And it was smiling.

I felt like I was going to die.

Then it vanished.

I looked back at the woman — she was gone too.

I was terrified.

I had to stay calm.

The news kept repeating the same nonsense.

Useless.

I’ll try to sleep now.

DAY 3

I couldn’t sleep last night.

When I woke up, the man was gone.

I searched everywhere.

Then I barricaded the house.

I waited.

I had everything I needed.

But being alone was hard.

I heard noises at the door.

I grabbed my weapon.

It was him again.

I asked where he had been.

He said nothing.

But his hand was covered in blood.

I thought: “I should kick him out.”

But I’d be alone again.

If he were one of them…

Why would he warn me about the window?

My head was spinning.

Then the door knocked again.

Another man.

Hey man, what’s up? I don’t have a home. Mind if I stay here — just for a while?

He said being three would be safer.

I agreed.

I went to sleep.

The days feel shorter now.

Strange.

DAY 4

The man I let in...

He was one of them.

He ate the other man.

I threw myself outside and ran.

I found another house.

Empty.

I’m scared.

I don’t know what to do.

I’m alone in the forest.

Surviving won’t be easy.

I’m going to die.

But when?

I don’t want to die by them.

But I will survive — I know it.

I found the basement.

I’m too afraid to go down.

So I locked it.

I’m going to sleep...

Knock, knock, knock, knock...

When I looked..
