Mixed feelings
"I enjoyed the first eight chapters with a murder mystery and teenage romance, even if there were many things that were hard to believe and broke the immersion. The ending feels forced, as if the author wanted to make certain things happen against reason. The writing style could use some polish, mainly to avoid repetition and overexplaining, though there are some really good descriptions of character reactions. Overall, with some tweaks, the story has the potential to be a nice, short murder mystery."
