Chapter 1: A Surprise Visitor at a Family Reunion.

On a beautiful, cloudless sunny day in the small town of Canton, South Dakota, a lively scene was unfolding at a farm on the outskirts. The Powell Family's Annual Reunion was in full swing, with a multitude of relatives gathered together; grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins - everyone filled with laughter and chatter, relishing the joyous occasion. The air was filled with the mouth-watering aroma of a barbecue sizzling away. James Powell, a towering figure at 6'5, was manning the grill, expertly sizzling hamburgers to perfection. Across the way, his wife Mary Louise Powell, adorned in the warmth of the day, engaged in conversation with a family member, sharing smiles that spoke volumes of their deep connection. James, at 47 years old, possessed striking hazel eyes and a warm smile, while Mary Louise, aged 45, with her shoulder-length brunette hair and captivating light brown eyes, radiated a timeless beauty. The couple, loving parents to five children, including their 3-year-old Autistic Toddler son Trey Powell, 5-year-old Laura Powell, 7-year-old Ryan Powell, and 9-year-old Identical Twins Chris and Madison Powell, witnessed their children gleefully playing with their cousins, creating cherished memories that would last a lifetime.

Outside the Powell Farm, a car drifted up the driveway, gliding to a stop. The driver's side door gracefully swung open as a Female emerged from the car, her steps purposeful as she made her way to the front door of the house. With a mix of determination and curiosity, she tapped on the door and pressed the doorbell, eager to be welcomed inside.

James assigned one of his relatives to tend to the grill, while he strolled through the sliding doorway of the backyard on the farm. He passed through the kitchen, into the living room, and peered through the peephole behind the front door. A shock of surprise coursed through him as he spotted a woman standing on the front porch. Without hesitation, he unlocked and swung the door open.

James asked, 'Hello, May I help you?'.

"Hello, is your wife home? I'm Sarah Kramer, your Wife's Wife", the woman answered.

James was stunned to discover that the woman was his Wife's Wife, a realization that turned his stomach with discomfort.

James nodded with understanding, 'Oh, I see,' he remarked.

Sarah politely inquired, 'May I have a chat with her, please?'.

"Ok, stay here, I'll go get her," James said.

James embarked on a journey through the living room and kitchen, passing through the sliding doorway. As he laid eyes on his wife, Mary, he informed her that someone sought her presence. Without hesitation, Mary rose from the outdoor chair. With graceful steps, she navigated through the sliding doorway, crossed the kitchen, and entered the living room. Her expression was a mix of shock and curiosity as she fixed her gaze upon the woman awaiting her.

Mary inquired, 'Hello there, would you like to have a conversation with me?'.

"Hi, Mary, I'm Leslie, I'm your wife", The woman answered.
