Chapter 1 part #1

“They say psychopaths aren’t made… they’re born.”

Their emotions live only in black or white — either burning with intensity or frozen without feeling. Like two sides of the same coin.

The room was dimly lit.The soft creak of the ceiling fan mixed with the sound of raindrops tapping against the windowpane.A coolness lingered in the air — but beneath it, something else: a quiet unease.

Grandpa’s voice cut through the stillness. He sat calmly on the couch, prayer beads in hand, speaking in a tone too soft for a warning… too calm for a story.

As if he wasn’t just telling something — he was revealing it.

Moon asked gently,“So… do psychopaths have horns? Like bulls?”

Grandpa smiled faintly and shifted his gaze —To Zain.

Zain stood by the window, motionless. His eyes stared into the darkness outside, as if he were watching something… or hiding from it.

His face was unreadable — yet somehow, unsettling.Grandpa’s smile deepened, the corners of his lips hiding something older than memory.“Of course not…” he said.“…or maybe they do. Not all horns can be seen.”
