Silence
She wondered out loud where everyone was at, but nobody was home. Tick tock. The sound of the clock broke her silence. Tick tock. Where to even start? Tick tock. Was she supposed to look for approval? Tick tock. Did she really do what was right? Tick tock. Is that why was she was alone? Tick tock. There is no glow to her phone. Tick tock. She stood up from her desk. She had been writing. Tick tock. Tears formed as she started to dread. Tick tock. “Am I the monster they last claimed me to be?” Tick tock. “Has everything I done been nothing but lies?” Tick tock. Tears were streaming. Tick tock. Was she really that bad? Tick tock. Did she make a wrong choice? Knock knock, the sound from the door. Knock knock. It pulled her from the place she was just before. Knock knock. She went to the door and opened it. To her surprise, he pulled her into a hug. “I’m back now don’t you cry.”
