What is your opinion?

Please, Sir, I'd Like Some More

"I devoured this too quickly. I need to know more about what is going on with Harlan. Why does he seem to have so much respect for Zinnia and Alder, but still went through with the duel? What didn't Alder listen to him about? Was he a corrupt sheriff, but kept that a secret from Zinnia? Why was he so keen on Simon, despite Zinnia's clear disgust with the boy? How can Harlan redeem himself to Zinnia? Should he be able to? Also... for someone who was never even struck by a bullet before to die in a duel.... is Harlan THAT good of a marksman? Did Alder somehow waver? Did he hold back, not wanting to kill Harlan for some reason? Did he succumb to his fate; realizing Harlan was right to kill him? WHAT IS GOING ON!?! I'm enjoying the mystery behind Harlan and Alder's history. Zinnia seems feisty (but also, I kinda want to see her more so?), and I love her for that. Seeing her battle with herself over her grief and anger while also being disgusted with her growing attraction to Harlan is fun. Also, her grief is so real and I love all the depictions of it. "
