Chapter 1
It was her first year of college, and Lexi Freed was driving around campus, trying to locate her dorm. She felt a little lost, circling the block for the third time. But this was her year.
She was determined to work hard, focus on her studies, and graduate as the best doctor she could be, a healer for others, no matter how broken she felt inside.
Lost in her thoughts, she honked her horn at a car parked in the middle of the street, a sleek black Lamborghini that looked straight out of a superhero movie, bold and fearless under the stark afternoon sky.
Someone emerged from underneath the car, brushing soot from their arms. Lexi blinked, her focus narrowing on them. They were tall, with messy hair and tattoos curling over muscled arms. A black sweatpants and white sleeveless compression shirt clung to their athletic frame.
Silver jewelry glinted against their skin, a chain around their neck and a single earring in one ear.
They moved with unbothered confidence, adjusting their sweatpants as though they hadn't just held up traffic.
Lexi honked again, leaning out of her window with an exasperated scowl. Her pink, bedazzled Mercedes was a glaring contrast to the sleek black Lamborghini.
"You're in the way, dude!" she snapped, her voice sharp and impatient.
The figure turned, pinning her with a pair of piercing blue eyes that sparkled in the sunlight.
"Girl," they corrected, their voice cool and self-assured.
Lexi froze, her frown slipping into confusion. "What?" she muttered.
In response, they lifted their compression shirt, revealing a jaw-dropping set of washboard abs... and the curve of smooth, unmistakably feminine breasts wrapped in a fitted tube top.
Lexi's jaw dropped. She blinked, stunned. Her?
The woman grinned at Lexi's reaction, slamming the hood of her car shut with a practiced ease.
Her smirk was devastatingly beautiful, showcasing straight white teeth with diamonds sparkling on her canines.
"See you later, hottie," she said, winking before sliding into the driver's seat of the Lamborghini.
And just like that, she was gone, leaving Lexi speechless and slightly breathless
