"Really enjoyed this mystery! The characters were great from start to finish, I found it funny and fresh, and the story and plot were believable and grounded in a firm sense of whimsy while still being very relatable and vivid! The "whodunnit" quality was really well executed, too! Love Freddie and Margo, and I'll definitely be swinging back for their Sequel! Really great job, VC! Drama, mystery, romance (not a lot of spice) and a middle aged female lead.
"This story is a well written mystery story. A middle aged woman who is not a detective falls into a murder mystery, the plot is reasonably simple but it is very well written with enough emotional drama to keep things interesting. The spice level is pretty low, and the violence is not glamourised. (This is the kind of book that I would be comfortable reading with my mum). The story ends, but leaves the door open for a sequel. If a sequel happens I would read it. "

"The history was everything! Twist and twist. Get you thinking on something but then WHAT? Everything turns out darker! I love it! Am a sucker for romance but this for a change was the best."
