Obsessed with this author’s work!

"This is the follow up to Our Best Enemies, and this story is intriguing and had me hooked from Day 1. Please read book 1 first which sets the foundation of this deliciously twisted love triangle between Camille, her 2 admirers - Jens, and Raphaël. These books have so many levels, and the dialogue is magnificent, quotable even. I’ve volleyed back and forth between which guy I think Camille should choose (and even agreed with other readers at one point that Camille would be better off alone), but I have a favorite for whom I’m routing. The relationship between Camille and her 2 best friends Alice and Heloise is also well-written. And the main villain, Lia, is morally irredeemable and evil to her decaying core...she evokes strong feelings of dislike, so brava to Nola for writing her characters so well. We are only 6 chapters in on book 2, and I am thrilled to say that I have no idea how this story will resolve. It’s absolutely thrilling to read literature that isn’t trite or predictable...highly recommended"
