Where The Snow Falls Red
Prithviraj Sahoo is a writer, aspiring filmmaker, and storyteller from Kolkata. He spent his early years in Patuli, studying at Welland Gouldsmith School, where stories first found a home in his notebooks and daydreams. Now a student at Silicon University, he balances the world of engineering with the universe inside his head — one filled with love, longing, and unsaid goodbyes.
Where the Snow Falls Red is his debut book. It’s not just a story on pages, but a piece of his heart he’s finally brave enough to share. Every scene, every line, every pause carries something deeply personal — the ache of memory, the joy of little moments, the silence of what’s lost.
He doesn’t write for fame or recognition. He writes because of her. Because one person, somewhere between stolen glances and quiet conversations, changed the way he looked at love and life. She may never know the weight of her presence, but she became the reason he picked up the pen. This book is his way of saying thank you. Of remembering. Of holding on.
He hopes this story reaches those who’ve ever loved quietly, waited too long, or held feelings they could never fully explain. Because sometimes, writing is just another way of staying close to someone who inspired it all.

For Mom & Enna.
You are not just names in my life —
you are the meaning behind every story I choose to tell.
In your presence, I found courage. In your laughter, I found rhythm. In your silence, I found peace.
You are my beginning and somewhere, my forever.
This book carries traces of you on every page,
in every unsaid word and every emotion that found its way to ink.
Thank you for being my reason to write.
“In that quiet, snow-wrapped silence, I didn’t find the Himalayas. I found myself.” Har Har Mahadev.
