The Founders

A long ways away, a towering mountain pierces the sky. Very few have ever ascended to the top, though, maybe, a bit more have than previously thought. Upon the formidable stone pillar lies a massive castle built from many different shapes and covered in windows. This is Oxenlick Academy…a place very few students get to attend. Only the best and richest students can even DREAM of receiving an invite… It’s all ran by a couple of individuals, the founders, who are an unknown amount of years old…perhaps as ancient as the mountain itself!

The four founders are Camesi Ebweod who is the most ancient of the four, Annadora Bellenandez, Rabin Vreprees, and Torga Saishle. Camesi is the one with the scruffy black hair, red eyes, and tanned skin. He wears a peculiar outfit that appears to be three other outfits stitched together. The right portion of the outfit is a cerulean suit jacket marked with two stripes, the upper stripe being a tropical rainforest type of green and the lower stripe a deep dark blue like outer space. The center of Camesi’s outfit is an aqua green shirt with a navy blue tie. The left portion of the outfit is a blush pink shirt with a royal purple chest stripe looking like an artificial suspender. The left shirt cuff is a bit fanciful and ribbon like with its bubble gum pink and sage green stripes.

“Well… After THE INCIDENT… Looks like we need to invite some more students to our campus…” Camesi says, briefly glaring at Rabin.

“What?! You’re still blaming me?! I had no control over my body, you know it!” Rabin spits angrily.

“Try telling that to the parents… Now. Surely it won’t happen again… So it’s safe to invite more rich kids,” Camesi says, scoffing.

As it turns out, the three segments of Camesi’s outfit represent his three ancient companions! Annadora is the first segment of the outfit. Her uniform is a tropical rainforest green shirt under a cerulean suit jacket. She wears an outer space blue bow tie. Printed just below the shoulder and around the wrist are the two horizontal stripes, the upper stripe being the tropical green color and the lower being the outer space blue color. Annadora, like Camesi, has black hair, but her skin is a darker brown and her eyes are brown, not red. Annadora is known for her wits.

“To be fair to Rabin, he handled the aftermath pretty well. Most people in his situation would have had a complete mental breakdown,” Annadora replies.

“Enough about The Incident… Torga, can I trust you to invite more students?” Camesi asks.

“You sure can, sir!” Torga says with a bow.

Rabin is a particularly plump looking fellow, at least, in the abdominal region. His head is adorned with bright red locks and his eyes are a shimmering emerald green. His outfit is the middle section of Camesi’s outfit. His shirt is an aqua green color, but on the shoulders and cuffs are triangular shaped stripes. The stripes themselves are a buttercup yellow and the inner triangles are light blue. Around his neck, he wears a navy blue tie. Rabin is known for being particularly brutal which…honestly…might be a bad idea…which would explain The Incident.

“Torga’s gonna mess things up again. Why not just let me handle inviting new students?” Rabin asks with a huff.

“You? Pick new students? For any particular reason…? Hmmmm?” Camesi asks.

“Stop! Again, I had no control over that! All I’m saying is Torga is not fit for that job!” Rabin yells.

“You’re not fit for your job, either,” Annadora argues.

“Torga. You know the rules, don’t you?” Camesi asks.

“Yeah! Only invite the richest of the rich, no monsters even if they are super mega rich, and ensure all invitations make it to the correct children. Easy peasy,” Torga says with a grin.

“See? Torga’s got this. He won’t let us down this time,” Camesi says.

“I won’t let you down, either, sir…” Rabin says in a hushed tone. “I promise…”

Torga, the final member of the founders, has chin length curly dark brown hair, lime green eyes, and tanned skin. His face is long and pointed. His outfit is the final segment of Camesi’s outfit. He’s got on a blush pink shirt with royal purple stripes down both sides of his chest. His tie is a frilly ribbon bow of a vibrant razzle dazzle rose color. His cuffs are frilly and ice cream parlor esque with their bubblegum pink and sage green vertical stripes. Torga is known for his kindness, gentleness, in his feminine, yet oddly fatherly, manners.

“Right, I’m just going to head down to my office real quick…” Torga says with a wink.

The other three founders watch as Torga frolics away. Torga hums merrily and knocks on his office door three times. The door swings open as if by magic as nobody was on the other side. He enters and takes a seat at his desk, still humming.

“Going to invite some kids~! Going to invite some kids! Woohoo! I love my job!” Torga says, his grin spreading from ear to ear. “Ah… But… If I WERE to break some rules…who would ever know? Is it that easy to tell?”

Torga accesses a list of all students old enough (and young enough) to attend Oxenlick Academy. He organizes the list by most wealth to least wealth, sighing sadly as he begins selecting students. Then, however, he smirks, inverting the list. He examines the lower class students for a bit…and then returns back to the wealthy students.

“Look at all these kids who have multi-billionaire parents… I just gotta MAKE SURE NONE ARE MONSTERS!” Torga yells upon hearing footsteps pass his office.

Torga giggles like a teenage girl. He then looks briefly at some students who are classified as monsters. Some are really rich, they just also happen to be monsters. He sighs again, scrolling past the monsters.

“Okay, THESE 12. These are my 12 students of choice! I mean, we still do have a FEW students left after The Incident,” Torga says with a shrug. “If we invite too many kids, Oxenlick Academy won’t be as special anymore.”

“Well, Torga? Did you do it?” Camesi asks, meeting up with Torga later for some tea.

“Yes, sir! I picked 12 super mega rich kids! I sent off the invitation letters detailing tuition prices and everything,” Torga says.

“I knew I could count on you! The others doubted you, but I know you are a rule follower. You would never do anything that inconveniences me,” Camesi says, patting Torga’s back. “I’m proud of you for not breaking under pressure!”

“Yes, sir! You won’t be disappointed! Unless we have a The Incident Part 2,” Torga says.

“There won’t be a part 2,” Camesi says.

Torga carefully lifts a tea kettle with a mitt on his hand. He pours some water over Camesi’s tea bag first, then his own. The main founder takes hold of his tea bag’s string and carefully jostles it up and down. Torga grins and jostles his own tea bag as silence continues to fill the air.

Some time has passed and the new students are arriving. Now, how do you get 12 kids up to the top of a mountain without them A. Freezing to death and/or B. Running out of oxygen? Very carefully. Down the sweeping side of the mountain, the 12 kids are meeting up at the base where Camesi is standing.

“Greetings, children! You must be the 12 that Torga helped me invite! It is a great honor and a privilege to have you all here! Now, then, line up… There’s, well, quite a trip to get to the top of the mountain,” Camesi says, briefly glancing up at the clouds which hide the peak.

“Are we REALLY going to climb this entire mountain? We don’t even have any oxygen packs!” a blonde girl with glasses complains.

“No, I have something better,” Camesi says and whistles.

A blazing white Pegasus neighs and runs down the side of the mountain carrying a school bus. The kids gasp in awe and wonder. Camesi chuckles, patting the Pegasus’ muzzle when it gets close enough. The seats in the bus, luckily, have seat belts.

“You all are welcome to ride in the bus. My noble steed here is an excellent driver… Gravity doesn’t even matter anymore!” Camesi says.

The bus door opens. The kids look at each other, eyes wide. They all file into the bus one after another. One kid is straggling, but he quickly realizes he’s getting left behind and follows the others in.

“Strap in everyone!” Camesi calls out, hopping into the bus and closing the door behind himself.

All the kids click their seatbelts. The Pegasus neighs and then takes off running straight up the side of the mountain. The kids whoop excitedly. Camesi grins, absorbing the energy of the excited kids. With a bit of magic, the kids are kept at a stable temperature and oxygen level the whole way up.
