Through your story, you made me experience so many different emotions that there were moments when I actually needed to take a break from reading because it all became so overwhelming. You showed what it truly means to lose control of your emotions, what happens when two people who love each other are trapped in silence and denial, and how that alone can lead to disaster. There were moments when I wanted to shake Hanna and make her accept reality, and others when I wanted to yell at Jay to run as far away as he could. A different take on Dom/Sub dynamic
"What an interesting story that delves into the power, control, vulnerabilty, worship & true intimacy dynamics involved in dominant/submissive relationships. The authors use of engaging other senses (sex was not their motivating factor) was surprisingly well done. The characters stayed true to their D/S dynamics. Many times I despised Hannah's need to be in control/cruel and assumed the worst about her & loved Jason's vulnerability/endurance yet struggled to see how it would come to a satisfactory conclusion for them both. It made me see & appreciate worship/submissiveness & control/dominance in a new way. "
A one of a kind book- The Voice That Commands Me
"I am still on high emotions with this book, honestly what a journey, I felt this book moved me in ways I have never felt so moved before. Hannah what a roller coaster with this character honestly I felt what she was going through. My favourite character who grew on me a lot in this story is Trevor he is such a beautiful soul with so much compassion. I love the dynamic with Trevor and Jason. Sam bless I really felt what she was going through in this book. The development of the whole story was well thought through seriously I was hooked. This is hard because I do not want to give anything away but seriously this is a must read book in such a high level here, There is so much and there is a secret message for everyone to take away with them if you really follow you will see. I am looking forward to book 2 and will be reading that for sure. "

"A different kind of "dark protector." This book deserves your attention. Jason is my hero. He displays a form of strength, trust, and courage that gave me chills in the best way possible. Don’t let first impressions fool you; you won’t find the whole truth on the surface. Psychological depth and consistent characters reveal a complex and very special connection between two people. You doubt, you despair, you get frustrated, and sometimes shocked, but you are always right in the middle of this character-driven story. Every action feels authentic if you look closer—or if you dare to really feel it. The characters? They are absolute killer. Seriously, Stephen King level! The author lets us share in a story unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. The mystery surrounding the unique and slightly unconventional bond between Jason and Hanna forms the core of the story, which I haven’t fully reached yet. But the unique storytelling and the depth of the character building compelled me to leave a review right now. It is absolutely worth the journey. I’ll add a final comment at the end, but so far, I am thrilled and moved. ✒️ To the author: Thank you. "I wasn’t ready for this story to end. I was so deeply immersed in it, it’s one of those books that stays with you long after you’ve turned the last page. I fell completely in love with the characters and couldn’t stop reading. The writing is truly beautiful, the dialogue flows naturally, and the lines sometimes feels poetic. The author created complex, morally grey characters that make you both love and hate them at the same time. I fell in love with Jason, he’s strong yet vulnerable, a broken soul searching for purpose. His love for the princess defines him; it becomes his obsession, his entire universe. His devotion is remarkable, he’s always willing to take the pain for her, breaking and breaking again, yet never stopping. And Hanna, the princess, who at first seems cruel and heartless, turns out to be just as broken, shaped by her past, unable to control her emotions. This book is an extraordinary mix of vulnerability, intensity, psychology, love, devotion, torture, pain, romance, action and even humour. It’s truly amazing, a story that lingers in your soul. A must read!!"

I started reading this story not at all sure where Hanna and Jason’s journey would lead, but it absolutely captivated me. Because Hanna and Jason’s relationship is anything but simple. Their relationship is raw and complex — driven by dominance, devotion, and the pain of two broken souls colliding. Hanna’s cruelty masks her deep emotional struggle, while Jason’s quiet devotion reveals the cost of unconditional love. Her inability to handle her emotions leads her to pour everything onto Jason, who endures it all with quiet acceptance. What begins as control and cruelty slowly reveals itself as a desperate struggle for connection and understanding. Kika088 beautifully captures the tension between Hanna and Jason - the push and pull, the unspoken emotions, and the haunting intimacy that binds them. The book that destroyed me and broke JASON
"If I don’t give this book a 10/10, then I must’ve been hit on the head because it was absolutely out of this world. From the very first page, I was pulled into a whirlwind of emotion, and I genuinely wonder how the author managed to write something so raw and powerful without getting completely overwhelmed themselves. Jason’s character was a masterclass in vulnerability. He wasn’t just broken he was willing to break even more, and that quiet surrender to pain and love made him unforgettable. I found myself crying over a fictional character, which is not something I say lightly. His journey was so real, so devastatingly beautiful, that it felt like I was living it alongside him. And then there’s Trevor. I don’t know who gave the author permission to create such a loving, tender, and fiercely loyal character but I’m grateful they did. Trevor is the kind of fictional soul who stays with you long after the final chapter. His presence in the story was like a balm, and I honestly wish more people could experience the kind of emotional depth he brought to the narrative. This book deserves far more recognition than it’s currently getting. It’s not just a story it’s an experience. The kind that lingers in your chest and makes you rethink what it means to love, to hurt, and to heal. I truly believe it would make a phenomenal movie. The emotional arcs, the character development, the tension it’s all there, begging to be brought to life on screen. Everyone needs to read this book. Jason’s body obeys her no matter what he wants, which makes for some really interesting dynamics.As I kept reading, the emotions between Hanna, Jason, and their friends got deeper and more real. And the action scenes? They kept me on the edge of my seat, no chance to get bored here! The best part is the invisible bond between Hanna and Jason. No one else sees it, but it totally runs their whole relationship. To others, it looks like Hanna’s just bossing him around and he’s the victim, but only they know what’s really going on.I’m not done yet, but I’m loving every twist and turn so far. If dark romance came without sex
"This is definitely not your average romance. There's literal mind control involved... And other love interests(this is why I'm bowing out. I don't mind a slow burn but when other people get involved, I'm out). It's giving master/slave relationship, so while not sexual in nature, I was thinking BDSM vibes. I didn't get far enough for the real chaos, but it's promised early on in the book. Grips you from the start and doesn't let go. If you like yourself a good slow burn(I peeked a little...you WILL wait a long time for the MCs to get together, so be prepared for that), I'm even going to say besties(sort of) to lovers and don't mind the FMC's kink for literally controlling her MMC, this offers a unique view on a love that waits in the wings to be accepted and welcomed in. For lovers of quirky romances like Jim Carrey's Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind(no exact parallels, just gave me that vibe) "

Unexpected Page Turner!
"The title and blub led me to thinking this was an intriguing premise, but often when I read novels with this initial promise I find they peter out after the first couple of chapters. This is different. The author has developed the germ seed of the story into a complex, multi layered relationship between the protagonists. It's not always a comfortable read, but I'm not exaggerating when I say I couldn't stop turning those digital pages. I'm still only on Chapter 48, but I'm going away for the weekend and this is 100% coming with me so I can find out what happens. The writing style is strong and consistent with dialogue that flows and feels authentic. Read, read, read if you like characters who can protective and strong but also vulnerable and complicated. "
