"Ryan!" a woman calls out, "Ryan Wake up!" Ryan opens his eyes to find his mother in tears, suddenly, a loud bang is heard from outside, followed by the sound of buildings crashing down, the earth rumbles, and 12 year old Ryan is paralyzed in fear "Mom what's happening" Ryan asks "We've got to go sweetie, hurry" She grabs Ryan in her arms and makes her way out the door of her apartment, Ryan only lived four stories high in the building, but it still seemed like their were racing against time to get out of the building, "Mom what's happening!?" before his mother could answer, an explosion hits the wall near them, his mother screams out as both she and Ryan are both knocked away by the explosions concussive force, Ryan's ears are ringing, it hurts, he feels his mother's hand pull him up, and as she is doing this, Ryan catches a glimpse of what is outside through the new hole opened by the explosion, he cannot believe his eyes, he sees it, a Humanoid machine of tantamount sizes,it's black visage made it look terrifying to behold, it was the biggest thing he had ever seen, The machine's size reached the altitude of the clouds, it's body caused the clouds to dissipate wherever it moved, there is no doubt about it, Ryan thought back to his school's history lessons, the giant metal behemoth was a Titan, but even so, none could ever warrant such a size, typical titans usually had a height of 300 to 700 meters, this one was probably around two kilometers tall, Ryan's mom pulled his hand, they both ran down stairs and made it out the building, a Van parked near by, "Get in!" The driver shouted, "Dad!" Ryan called out as they entered the vehicle, they drove off and made their way to the highway that led outside the city "Damn those US bastards, I didn't think they'd be here so soon" Ryan heard his dad say "But why would they send their Titan here, it doesn't make any sense, this city has no strategic significance whatsoever" His mom said "My guess is they wanted to send their Titan on a test run, I've never seen one of that size, so they probably wanted to give it a smooth deployment, or this is simply a show of strength to keep the other nations in line" His Dad answered, His parents where at it again, they Both served in the FAC military, or the Federated African Coalition, A federation of most Southern African countries, which has become more centralized to the point where it's considered it's own nation, "None the less we have to get out of here soon, they reached the bridge whereby they were blocked by traffic, seeing this Ryan's dad switched to reverse but other cars where already blocking him from behind "Damn it!" He's father shouted, it seems every other person in the city had the same idea to leave, this consequently led to traffic in the area, "Looks like we're stuck" His dad said, "But if we stay here for too long, that thing will kill us!" his mother shouted, suddenly a beam of concentrated energy hit the Titan, they turned to look at the direction the beam came from "It's Horus!" his dad shouts and as he says this, they see it in the sky, it's a Titan, one clad in Gold and with mechanical wings that open up to shoot a barrage of ballistic missiles at the black Titan, the missiles hit, but they don't seem to faze the Black TITAN, Ryan feels rumbling in the waters under their bridge and suddenly another TITAN bursts out rushing the Black titan, it has a respectable size of around 700 meters "If it ain't Hammerhead, that titan was crucial at subjagating the Congo region, I was there when it took down Calamity, after the enemy's titan was down, they surrendered immediately" Ryan's father added, Ryan could almost sense a twinge of patriotism in his father's words and smile, Hammerhead pushed at the Black titans leg, causing it to stumble, suddenly a cut starts to appear on the black titan, and then another and another, A different Titan then appears as if out of nowhere, it's colors reminiscent of military camouflage, "And that would be Silent Steel, Its piloted by the first FAC Female pilot" Ryan's mom says, Ryan gazes at the windows, he looks at these mechanical monsters do battle, Hammerhead possess a humanoid bulky body, he jumps up with the assistance of thrusters on his feet he aims for the Black Titan's chest and delivers a punch on its abdomen, the black Titan stumbles back, this causes tidal waves from the city's river to hit the coastal regions, The black Titan attempts to aim it's arm at Hammerhead but before it can deploy it's weapons, it's arm is bombarded by Horus's air strikes, The Black Titan's shoulders shift and weapons appear from it, concentrated missiles shoot at Horus but the fire is intercepted in mid-air by Horus's Anti air warheads, Horus continues to provide fire, the black Titan raises its left arm in defense, but it's hand is knocked away, preventing it from blocking, Silent Steel appears on the black Titan's left arm, It may be around 300 meters but it makes up for its size in speed, it stabs the black titans arm with its sword and pulls out, to the deal a slash attack on its arm, the Black titans arm suffers damage, the black titans swings its hand in an effort to get Silent Steel off it, seeing that this is proving ineffective, it reels its right arm for a punch, Silent steel jumps off the left arm and narrowly dodges the attack and then disappears again, Ryan is captivated by what's happening, he can't get enough of it, he can't help but be in awe at the sight of these Giants do battle, It seems the FAC titans although lacking the size and weight advantage, have the upper hand, People on the bridge start cheering, Cars start hooting in approval, Ryan himself feels joy "Bet those US bastards didn't think we were well defended, Now their Titan might have chewed up more than it was asking for" Ryan's father says, "Somethings wrong though" his mother says "What do you mean?" his father asks, "Have you noticed, the black titan has be stationary, since the beginning of this fight, not only that's it's performing poorly on defending itself from attack, that Doesn't sound like a US titan to me" she adds, "So what you thinking, that this was a terrorist attack" Ryan's father asks, "No, terrorists don't build 2000 meter titans,No titan has ever been this big, this is the US alright, it's just that their actions seem rather strange in this fight" Ryan's mother says, The Titan onslaught carries on, Hammerhead delivers another punch to the black Titan's leg, causing fractures, Silent Steel keeps delivering cuts and wounds the Black titan, Horus rains fire upon the Black titan, providing air Support, it launches 12 hypersonic missiles at the black titan, to prevent its counter measures from getting the time to block it, the explosions cause a large Cloud of smoke, the smoke then clears, and the black Titan still stands, bruised and battered but standing none the less, many of its wiring can be seen, the damage it sustained very much apparent, Suddenly a sound erupts from its intercom, it's a male voice, it's sound booming and Authorative, "All enemy titans, Surrender now or face swift annialiation", The Black Titan Said, This was strange, the Titan that was injured, the Titan that had suffered damage was asking it's enemy to surrender, Suddenly a loud Voice called, it was from Horus's intercom, "We will not surrender, incase you havan't noticed, we've got you pinned, you lack both Arial and ground advantage, you may be big, but your outnumbered, Surrender now or we'll have to decommission your Titan, permanently" The pilot of Horus said, "Good, I was hoping you'd refuse, you see just between you and me, I've been waiting for a chance to go on the offensive", The black Titan says, it suddenly begins to glow yellow lines of light across its body in a streamlined order, and to the horror of everyone present, the Black titan begins to self repair at and alarming rate, within mere moments the damage across the entire titan is repaired, and the black titan is as good as new "What in the...!?", Ryan's dad says in shock, "Analysis of durability report transmited, Durability test complete, Results Satisfactory" The black Titan's AI seems to be the one speaking "Beginning next phase of trail run, Offensive restrictions lifted, Three targets identified and marked for execution, New orders recieved, *FERRUM DEUS, ELIMINATE THEM*" To this command machine let out a bellowing howl, it was so loud it started to shatter all the glass the cars had in the bridge, as well as the glass the presided in the buildings, the Black Titan Ferrum Deus began to move and it jumped, it was so fast, Horus couldn't react fast enough to dodge, Ferrum Deus grabbed Horus from the sky, and then it landed on the ground while having Horus firmly in its grasp, their landing caused the earth to shake around them, the shaking caused some of the bridge suspension system to break, there was mass wide panic all over the bridge , but Ryan couldn't stop looking, he had to see what happens next, Ferrum Deus holds Horus with one arm, Horus was a large titan, despite being an Arial titan, he had an impressive size of around 600 meters, so seeing him handled like a rag doll wasn't a pretty sight, "Pitiful, this is the Best Egypt has to offer, allow me to end your pitiful display" Ferrum Deus slams Horus the ground causing heavy damage, he then proceeds to step on Horus which causes damage but also pins him to the ground, Ferrum Deus then grabs both of Horus's wings then rips them off, This scene seems to make the other two titan recover from the shock as they realize the fatal danger Horus is in, they both Rush to save him "Insolence, I will not be trifled with" Ferrum Deus's pilot says, the Titan Glows blue and suddenly an invisible force begins to pin Hammerhead down, the Titan falls and can't seem to get up, Ferrum Deus then proceeds to deploy missiles from its back, they fly around as if with no direction, the then hit something, and suddenly it is revealed to be Silent Steel, Those missiles seem to have made impact, but they seem to have left cluster shells that begin to shock Silent Steel at high voltages, The electricity fries Silent Steel's circuitry causing it to burst into flame, Silent Steel then goes quiet, the body that was shaking from electricity, just falls to the ground lifeless, Ferrum Deus then faces Horus and then proceeds to glow red, his face the begins to reshape and a concentrated amount of energy flows to it, Horus's intercom activates, "Wait No I Surrender!..." Is all the pilot can utter before Ferrum Deus Shoots Them with a centrated beam of of energy, to say the beam destroyed Horus would be an under statement, the titans upper body was disintegrated, Ryan couldn't believe his eyes "What a monster..."Is all Ryan's dad can say, "Babe we need to get out of here" his mother says, they get out of the car and plan on making it across the bridge on foot, while running on foot Ryan still tried to Look at the fight, from what it looked like, Hammerhead was the only Titan still operational, "YOU BASTARD!!!" The intercom of the Hammerhead's Pilot bellowed, it tried to get up from the invisible force that kept it down "You are still defiant even now, fine then, let me show you the power of a god" Ferrum Deus said, it then glowed blue again and with a wave of its hand flung Hammerhead across the city, without even touching him, he then drags him across the cities buildings with this invisible force, Ryan shuddered at the thought of the people living in those buildings, Ferrum Deus then pulled Hammerhead towards him, Hammerhead was stuck suspended in the air unable to move, in a last ditch effort, Hammerhead launched all its ranged attacks on Ferrum Deus, while this attack might have been enough to injure him earlier, somehow now, Ferrum Deus had not a scratch on him "Disgraceful" Ferrum Deus said and a sword begin to construct itself out of mid air, Ferrum Deus grabbed the sword and it glowed orange and then burst into flames, Ryan realized this wasn't a fight anymore, it was a Ceremonial execution, Ferrum Deus then swung his sword and then cut off Hammeredheads arm, and then he proceeded to slash of all the Limbs Hammerhead had, he then proceeded to stab the Nexus, the chest area in the torso that is where the power source and the pilot is located, Hammerhead spasms and then goes offline as Ferrum Deus leaves it to fall on the Ground, Ferrum Deus then rips off Hammerheads Head and raises it up, and lets out a bellowing Roar, almost as if a feral creature where establishing its dominance, the roar was powerful, and it got its message across, we were defeated, we were broken, we were nothing, Ferrum Deus's Pilot spoke once again through the intercom "Kneel before me, for I am Ferrum Deus, The Iron God"
