Aresia Lunamex is a gifted and silly 13yo in the year 2078. For the 40th Anniversary of the end of the revolution, she makes videos explaining how life ‘works’ in 2078, from technology to school to the work structure, and even the 13-month calendar! Each ‘episode’ explores a different aspect of future life uniquely, while at the same time divulging more and more about how the revolution came about 51 years before and other elements of that dark period. Aresia urges the people of 2000 to hurry up and ‘app it’(make it happen). Aresia’s engaging personality is evident; she is not afraid to be herself and make mistakes. Mayflor is her best friend. She is more sensible and grounded, and the two share chaos and tenderness. Jupiter is Aresia’s little brother, who is autistic, and he adds a level of tension and wonder to Aresia’s life and videos. He is a good kid, overall. Chandler is Aresia’s ‘file:search’, her crush. PapaHuan is dad, a chef and a jokester who simply loves life. Violet is mom, a yoga-loving psychologist who is a comic strip writer/artist. She brings the truth of human behavior to the forefront when it comes to raising her kids. MamaKat is Aresia’s grandmother. She is an imposing person, a wild spirit, and she’s lived through it all. To wit: she was the leader of the revolution which ended in 2038.
