Travis's Beginning at Crestmoor

Crestmoor Boarding School.

The boarding school ever created. That's what 18 year old Travis heard as well as his parents telling him he'd be going there for the next school year. He already knew he'd have a horrible time there, but he didn't think of all the horrible things that started to happen whenever he got there. The students there were your stereotypical dangerous, rebellious teenagers who never cared about the consequences of anything that they did.

Travis wasn't a "bad child". His parents were just over the top, expecting him to do everything perfectly, and the one time he receives a B on his final report card, they automatically start thinking that something is wrong with him and he needs to be "fixed" back into a "perfect person mindset."

Travis always tried to not think about what the students there were saying about him and what they would do. Push him against lockers, lock him out of classrooms, bang on his dorm room door at 3 in the morning. He was pretty good at tuning it out. Until one day, he was sitting in his dorm room on his own until he dormmate got there early. Travis smiled awkwardly to him, expecting him to be just another bully towards him. But instead he smiled back and went over to sit with him on the couch.

"Hi, I'm Tucker, nice to meet you!!" He had a slight French accent, which Travis smiled at. He then spoke up, his demeanor changing after seeing what Tucker was like. "I'm Travis. Nice to meet you too.." He spoke softly and cautiously, even if Tucker was nice to him.

After a while, they started talking. Travis had asked him why he was there, since he seemed really nice and didn't have a real reason to be placed into a boarding school. Tucker quickly explained that it was his parents' excuse to send him to a boarding school because he had recently come out to them and they didn't "believe" in that.

"It's not all that bad once you get used to the rude people. They get annoying to the point that it's almost funny." He chuckled softly before smiling brightly. Travis smiled back and said "I like you. We should be friends" and Tucker quickly agreed. "I can introduce you to the rest of my friends tomorrow" and then Travis agreed. After that, they went to bed in their own separate rooms, ready for the new day together.
