The beginning of the Unwritten
CHAPTER 1
The power went out in the entire neighborhood and vanished within seconds. I dashed to the library for Internet service. That's when I spotted the thing that would rip me out of my century.
"Huh?? What's this??" I picked up a book that has no title on it. It looks so old, dusty and dirty
"This is kinda giving horror vibe, LMAO. this is scary... why would this book come out of nowhere" I sighed as I put it back to its spot. Not knowing it would change my life.
I walked around the library, looking for an interesting books to read. Then I heard it, An eerie sound coming from the book that I put away
"What the... Okay well that's weird" I tried to ignore the fact that I'm hearing things.
"Hm?? Lemme just read it, it wouldn't hurt anyone right?..."I said, even though I was creeped out. the fact that it was making noise out of nowhere unsettled me even more.
"Let's see..." I read the book page by page, every second feeling like an hour. The more I read, the more interesting it became.
Three hours have passed since I started reading. By the time I realized the sky had already turned black, I panicked, shoved the book back to its spot, and quickly rushed straight to bed.
"Phew, what a relief.."I sighed in exhaustion, throwing myself onto the bed before falling asleep.
Nothing could have prepared me for what lay ahead, but the knock was so intense that it shook my chest. A war torn field with steel and blood in the air was visible beyond the door.
"What the?!" I exclaimed, too stunned by the chaos taking place all around me. Like a falling boulder. The realization hit me hard.
"Oh my god!" I yelled, my voice cracking as the battle continued, going on longer than I had anticipated.
