"This story is beautifully nostalgic and quietly heartbreaking. It starts with innocent, all-consuming young love and follows them as they grow—especially him, who sacrifices so much for her. What hurts most isn’t just that they don’t end up together, but that she chooses someone who once broke her. Even though she eventually leaves him, it feels like the damage is already done. The ending, with the hint of her return years later, is more bittersweet than hopeful. It leaves you thinking about timing, choices, and all the “what ifs.” "

"Great emotional story with lots of different and strong characters. There were emotional highs and lows throughout the story which I enjoyed. Well written and would definitely recommend reading it. "
