Author are you putting mermaids in this, or the Lockness monster but 2025 version? I am starting to believe that there is more to this Ares -Theo enemies relationship and I’m absolutely enjoy it!! Btw, do you make the little poems at the start of every chapter yourself? Cause if so, your my new mentor! Become a bloody poet!!"

Moorwald itself is alive: High School is sterile and cruel, W. Lake is too quiet to trust, and the woods seem to whisper things I’m not ready to hear. Theo is the kind of protagonist who makes you ache. He’s sarcastic, angry, and constantly on edge, but there’s something so human beneath all that armor. I keep waiting for him to crack, and every time he almost does, he doesn’t. His dynamic with Ares is pure tension. Their scenes together are like watching a match over gasoline. The Uptown pack: Ares, Freya, and the rest- are terrifying and fascinating. You love to hate them, and sometimes you just love them anyway. And then there’s Mila. Her strength feels tragic, like a story half-told. I want to hear the rest. What truly sets this book apart is its atmosphere. The author’s style is sharp and rhythmic, full of quiet menace and emotional weight. It’s not just the words, it’s the way they’re arranged. The pacing is fast but deliberate, and the tension never lets up. Every chapter feels like it’s building toward something huge, something I can’t quite see yet. There’s a distinct modern Gothic taste to it. The world-building is profound, the character work deeply felt, and the tone balances dark fantasy with raw, relatable emotion. It’s a sophisticated and compelling style that promises a rich, character-driven epic. I don’t know where it’s all going, but there’s something bigger lurking beneath the surface, and I’m both terrified and thrilled to find out what it is."
