Chapter 1
January 14th 2013
Louise is supposed to be getting ready for work but she’s throwing up in the toilet.
“Are you okay snuckums?” Ben asked her from the bedroom dressed in a dark blue three piece suit and spectacles on his face.
Louise just thinks he’s a moron and taking these superman powers over the top. Louise asked Jophiel if she could fly which made her laugh until Ben floated off the ground. She was shocked that Michael gave him such an ability and told Louise that once she’s had the babies and ready for patrol then she’ll give her the ability. After Ben got beat up by Absalom he spoke to Michael about increasing his strength which Michael said no as Absalom is a slugger and Ben is a trained worrier and should be able to beat him. He’s been sat in his Batcave which he changed to his Fortress of Solitude another superman reference. They’ve still not had sex as Ben hardly sleeps due to his nightmares, Louise is feeling self conscious as she’s put on some weight and doesn’t feel sexy, Ben doesn’t help with saying that he’s going to start greasing the doors if she gets any bigger.
“Do I fucking sound okay cunty?” She yelled at him.
“No, you sound like you are throwing up.” Ben calls back to her.
“Thin ice buster, after last night’s antics.” She says to him in an angry tone.
“What? That was funny.” He says to her, the door opens and Louise in just her black matching bra and knickers does not look happy.
“Saying I could be used as a bouncy castle isn’t funny dickhead!” She yelled at him.
“I thought it was, but I’m sorry snuckums.” He tells her, she just glares at him and goes and brushes her teeth. Once finished she steps out into the bedroom and looks at him.
“Oh and before I forget, the seat goes down after you’ve used it, don’t piss on the toilet seat or the floor, and never say my ass is bad after what you did last night in there.” She tells him.
“Sorry, still getting used to it all, never had a relieve myself in over three centuries and we didn’t have toilets when I was last human.” He tells her, and she looks at him confused as history wasn’t her strong suit at school.
“How or what did you use to do your business?” She asked him as she puts on a long flowing low cut blue dress.
“Thinking about it now, I rather not say and try to look at your past memories and you’ll know.” He says with a smile, she closes her eyes and the look of disgust is written on her face.
“I think i’m going to throw up again.” She says and runs back into the en-suite to be sick.
“This is why I didn’t want to say.” Ben laughs, which gets him.
“Fuck off.” Followed by more retching.
Sometime later Ben and Louise are sat in there office going over spreadsheets, well Louise is working Ben is playing solitaire on his computer as he’s so board.
“Right so we should have a new lead scientist by next week, which is your Hallie for the weapons lab, a consultant by tomorrow for the weapons lab if this meeting goes well in an hour. A consultant for the space lab in two weeks and your Hilary for the lead scientist position in the space lab is meeting me at 2 o’clock today.” Louise tells him.
“Felicia Hardy?” Ben asked.
“What about her? Do you know her?” Louise asked him.
“No, just a strange name.” He tells her with a smile.
“Okay well that’s in a hour.” She states.
“What about Ralph?” Ben asked and gets up to look out of the window.
“Scheduled to knock the building down Wednesday. Nana doesn’t want to see him as she’s still upset about Frank.” Louise tells him.
“I’ve been thinking.” He says.
“Did it hurt?” Louise asked with a smile, he turns and grins at her as that was quick.
“Ha ha, very funny. But seriously with us about to become parents have you thought about reaching out to your dad?” He asked her, Louise just glared at him.
“Seriously? That’s what you’ve been thinking about? The man left me and my siblings, they might not be old enough to remember but I do. The man is a waste of skin and if he died today I wouldn’t bat an eyelid.” Louise tells him.
“I figured as much, Amon stalked him for weeks and was going to kill him but he thought it would make you happy.” Ben tells her.
“He would have been right. The man who married my mum is my dad.” She states.
“I can never make piece with my father, but you can.” Ben tells her.
“You hated your dad, what’s gotten into you?” She asked him.
“I’m about to become a father, just wish I could talk to mine, get some advice from him.” Ben tells her and wipes a tear from his eyes.
“Sweetheart, your dad was a vile cruel man, and not fit to be a dad. This human thing is really getting to you if you want to forgive that prick.” Louise tells him, then a flash hits her.
March 14th 1663 Preston
Louise is dressed in a dark cream dress with long sleeves, it had a white piny around her waist and slightly low cut which showed off the top of her breast. She’s standing in Patrick Asmall’s study. Patrick is sitting behind his large desk admiring how beautiful she is, Louise does not like how he’s looking at her.
“So miss Winters, it’s been brought to thy attention that thy son wishes to marry thee.” He states.
“Yes my Lord.” Louise says with a smile, Patrick has a look of displeasure on his face.
“My son may not inherit my title one day but he will inherit my home and be a Lord.” Patrick tells her.
“I know this my Lord but I don’t care for titles or money. I love your son and want only him.” Louise tells him.
“I know he loves you very much miss Winters, but I do care about titles, money and this families standing. So I can’t allow my son to marry a peasant girl, especially a whore like you.” He says with malice.
“I beg your pardon my Lord but I’m not a whore.” Louise defended herself, Patrick stands from his seat and walks towards her, this makes Louise feel very uncomfortable.
“Do you still have your virtue miss Winters?” He asked, Louise bows her head in shame.
“No my Lord.” She says to him.
“You are not a virgin and yet you are not married, doesn’t that make you a whore child?” He asked her.
“I have only laid with Benjamin my Lord.” Which is met by a backhand to her face hard which drops her to the floor and Patrick boots her hard several times to the stomach.
“At least this way I know that you will not be with child. You speak of this to anyone or the fact that you whored yourself to my son and I’ll have you hanged. Is that clear miss Winters?” Patrick asked her.

“I’m going to suggest to your father that you are to be married to Mr Anderson’s son or I’ll have him killed.” He tells her, there’s a knock on the door and a maid opens it, she sees Louise on the floor and then looks at Patrick.
“Your son is returning from his hunt my Lord.” She says to him.
“Very well, take miss Winters and get her cleaned up and sent home.” Patrick tells her.
“Of course my Lord.” She says and grabs Louise who winces in pain and takes her out of the study where they see Lady Joanne coming towards them. She stops them and grabs Louise’s face.
“Stay away from Benjamin girl.” She says and spits in her face, Louise doesn’t know why but she can sense evil in this woman, Louise wipes her face and glares at her.
“I preferred your sister.” Louise says smugly and walks off with the maid, Joanne goes to conjure up a fireball.
“Don’t even think about it Joanne.” Lucifer says in her head.
“My apologies my Goddess.” Joanne replies to her.
“I have great plans for that girl. I’m thinking having one of my vampires turn her so Lord Benjamin will have to kill the love of his life.” Lucifer says to her.
Ben is just staring at Louise as she zoned out.
“Is everything okay luv?” He asked.
“Yea, just remembering the last conversation I had with your father, March 14th 1663.” She says with disgust.
“I recall you ignoring me for weeks afterwards and then you asking to meet me at our tree.” Ben says to her, Louise is next to him in a blur and rubs his cheek.
“I’m so sorry that I hurt you that night. You understand that I had no choice.” She says to him as she told Ben why she had to marry when she got her memories back.
“I get it now, but it still hurt. Getting told that we can never happen and that we are over, then to top it off you are marrying Mr Anderson as his son was killed by slaves. I was beyond furious.” Ben says to her.
“I know you was as I had to hear about all your conquests including my best friend Gemma.” Louise tells him.
“I never slept with Gemma back then, she disappeared the night of your wedding. I only found out a few centuries later that she was turned by Jezebel.” Ben tells her, that is a relief as Louise always thought he slept with her.
“Next you’ll be telling me that you never slept with Rachel Darlington.” She says with her arms folded, Ben burst out laughing.
“I wasn’t that desperate snuckums, I spent the night drinking with her a few days after you died but nothing happened.” He tells her.
“I always expected you to stop the wedding and we’d ride off into the sunset, but you never did. It was months after my wedding before you came to me and we started out affair. Did the twins not satisfy you?” She asked him.
“I never slept with the Simmons twins, we all grew up together they were my friends. I was at the wedding.” He says and turns away to look back out of the window.
“What do you mean you was there? I looked for you, prying that you would save me.” She slaps his shoulder in annoyance at him.
“You looked around but you never looked up. I was sitting in the rafters with Cole. He kept nudging me to stop it, but you telling me to leave you alone and you didn’t want to be with me anymore rang in my ear.” He tells her and wipes his eyes as that was the saddest day of his life up until then. It actually hurt him more than losing his stepmother Jillian, but he was only a small child then.
“Your father threatened mine and my fathers life if I didn’t go through with it. I always thought my dad loved me but he sold me so quickly like I meant nothing to him.” Louise tells him, Ben turns to her.
“You should have told me back then. I always thought it was grandfather who forbid our union.” He states.
“I think your grandfather would have accepted it and just cast you out.” Louise says to him.
“Me to, think my dad would have done the same if he had another boy. Oh wait he did.” Ben says to her, she looks confused for a moment then realises who he means and slaps his chest. Before he can respond his laptop begins bleeping.
“Shit!” He says and in a blur is next to his laptop and opens it up.
“What is it?” Louise asked.
“Someone has kidnapped Jennets son.” He tells her.
“She won’t be happy about that.” Louise says to him.
“Not that one, the one she had with Satan. I don’t know how as even she didn’t know where he was.” He tells her and spins around and he’s dressed in his fighting outfit.
“Shannon open the sun roof.” He tells her and the roof opens, he kisses Louise’s cheek.
“Do you need me to go with you?” She asked.
“No, if Absalom is behind this then I want you as far away as possible.” He says and blasts off through the open roof and it closes behind him.
Matilda walks into BDA Enterprises dressed in a thigh length burgundy low cut dress with a knee length burgundy leather jacket with black two inch heels. Her dad walks over confused to see her as he was sat in the lobby drinking a brew and looking at an iPad.
“Hay Princess, what are you doing here?” He asked her.
“I have a meeting today with someone about Louise’s old job, if Louise can do it then it should be easy.” She says smugly.
“Your names not down for a meeting sweetheart.” He states.
“Felicia Hardy.” She tells him, and there on his iPad is the name Felicia Hardy.
“How did you manage to do this?” He asked her.
“Shazza helped me, wanted to get this job without any connections to you guys.” She states.
“Well that’s going to be hard Princess as Louise is giving the interview.” James tells her, and her face drops at this news.
“Why? She’s running the place why can’t it be someone else?” Matilda asked.
“It’s her old job, she wants to make sure that it’s run by a great team.” He says to her.
“Shit, any advice?” She asked him.
“Don’t lie again and be honest with your sister about why you want this job, I think if you get it then you’d be great. I’ll take you to conference room A.” He tells her which makes her smile.
“Thanks dad.” Then they head off to check her in at the front desk and then take the lift.
Ten minutes later Matilda is sat in the conference room on her own waiting for Louise, then she walks in, with her head in her iPad.
“Hi, sorry to have kept you waiting.” Louise says.
“It’s quite alright.” Matilda replies, Louise looks up.
“Tilly? What are you doing here?” Louise asked pissed off.
“Interview, I’m Felicia Hardy.” She says with a smile.
“Well interview is over. Get out.” Louise tells her in a right nasty tone.
“Lou, the only reason I lied is because one, I didn’t think you was going to do the interview and two, I wanted this job off my own merit not who I’m related to. Give me a chance you know that I’m more than capable of doing this job.” Matilda tells her, Louise stops and groans in frustration as Matilda would be better than she was.
“Fine, your hired.” Louise tells her, Matilda looks so confused.
“Really? I was expecting an interview. I don’t want the job because I’m your sister.” Matilda tells her.
“It’s because your my sister that you are not getting an interview as I know full well how capable and competent you are. It’s also how I know you’ll be amazing at this job. So welcome to BDA Enterprises Matilda Johnston.” Louise tells her and walks towards her with her hand out, Matilda stands up and shakes it.
“Oh thank you and I won’t let you down.” She says with pride in her voice.
“Good, dad will take you to Kirsten who has your contract, read it before signing as she might want your soul.” Louise says and walks out of the room and back to the lift, leaving a very worried Matilda in the conference room alone.
Later that night at Haslam Park, Matilda dressed in her pink and black fighting outfit is out on patrol with Caitlyn who’s dressed in her black fighting outfit. Caitlyn was stabbed through the stomach by Talia and Matilda set her on fire, after Ben saved them Matilda healed Caitlyn then Beth but by the time she tried to heal anyone else it was too late. Stuart hasn’t been see since that night as he’s grieving over the loss of Havana. Ben spoke to him and told him that she was supposed to die a few years ago on Halloween. Daniel is also extremely upset as he was the one who killed Imogene as she was about to kill Hayley. They are currently fighting three male vampires, Matilda is fighting two and Caitlyn the other. Caitlyn goes to punch her vampire in the head but he blocks it and backhands her across the face, which momentarily stumbles her to her knee. He goes to kick her in the face which she blocks, then delivers a hard punch to his knee. He screams out in pain as she shattered his knee cap and falls to the floor holding his leg. Caitlyn stands up and looks over at Matilda who kicks one vamp in the balls dropping him then throws a stake through the heart of the other turning him to dust. She walks towards the vampire who has his hands up in surrender.
“Please don’t kill me.” He begged, she looks around at the dead bodies which litter the floor.
“Isn’t that what these people would have begged far? Yet you still killed them.” She says in a menacing tone.
“Hay, calm down. I’m a vampire I need blood.” He tells her.
“I’m Zachariel’s Champion and my job is to destroy evil and you radiate evil.” She tells him and in a blur she rips his heart out turning him to dust.
“You good Crabby?” Matilda asked her.
“Yea.” She says and rubs her cheek and see the other pile of dust as clothes on the floor. Matilda touches her ear piece.
“Shazza, need a clean up crew.” She tells her.
“Aaron is on route, good work you two.” Shannon says.
“Where do they learn all them cool fighting moves?” Caitlyn asked, Matilda shrugged.
“Probably there sire, I’ll ask.” She begged to say and realised that she can’t ask anyone as they’ve all left town. She doesn’t really want to speak to Ben, she’s forgiven him for what Amon did but she can’t forget.
“Just find it weird that they know all these fighting skills and I’m still average at best.” Caitlyn states.
“Your better than average and you are getting way better.” Matilda sticks up for her.
“Thanks, but I’m miles behind Lex, he was amazing in America.” Caitlyn says with pride.
“Are you crushing on my little brother? Thought you liked girls?” Matilda asked with a smirk.
“Eww, god no and I do like girls. Just weird that me and Beth are Champions and yet Lex a Wolf Hunter was way better than us.” Caitlyn says deflated.
“Lex was taught by the best and is currently just behind me. He’s definitely surpassed Lauren.” Matilda tells her.

“Tilly I can hear your conversation and I’m pregnant and would still kick your ass.” Louise says into both there ears as she’s been taken off active duty.
“Whatever Lou, we haven’t spared in years and the last time you got knocked out when you messed with me.” Matilda says cockily.

“Thanks I needed that. I’ll speak to you later as I have Beth and Loz on the other line.” Louise says and disconnects.
“So?” Caitlyn asked.
“What?” Matilda responds.
“You excited about your new job?” She asked.
“I am. Normally I’d be talking Owen’s ear off about it. I miss him so much.” Matilda tells her and wipes her eyes, Caitlyn gives her a hug.
“I know you do sweetie.” Caitlyn states.
“He wasn’t your husband Tilly.” They hear Heathers voice say and they turn to find her and her brother standing there all in black.
“Itsy? Jimmy? What are you guys doing here?” Matilda asked them.
“It seems that you betrayed me Tilly, after I specifically told your fucking sister that I wasn’t a spy for her!” Heather yelled.
“We never betrayed you Itsy.” Matilda stated.
“If that’s the case then why is my sister dead?” Heather says in rage.
“She killed her to protect me Heather.” Caitlyn tells her.

“You was supposed to get everyone out.” Matilda tells her.
“Just like your sister, blames everyone else and doesn’t take responsibility for anything.” Heather says to her, Matilda holds her hands up.

Matilda and Caitlyn sit up, Matilda grabs her broken nose and resets it in a grunt of pain which brings tears to her eyes.
“So this is what Caleb said when he told Bea about me and Itsy being archenemies.” Matilda says with sadness in her voice.
“Do you have any clue what she’s supposed to do to you?” Caitlyn asked as they get to there feet.
“She kills people close to me, Caleb said that she grows bitter over something. It’s obviously Talia’s death and Jimmy whispering in her ear.” Matilda tells her.
“We get her back right?” Caitlyn asked, Matilda shakes her head.
“Not for over 20 years, Lou is going to be super pissed as she wanted Karla this weekend.” Matilda says with sadness.
April 12th 1663
Its just after dark in Preston and Louise and Gemma are talking outside Louise’s father’s house.

“You and Ben should just run away together.” Gemma tells her.
“Lord Asmall would kill you, my father and all the children I’ve taught to read as punishment. I love Ben but I’d never endanger anyone for my selfish needs.” Louise tells her, Gemma gives her friend a hug.
“I believe you are destined for greatness Louise. Your the kindest, most loving, caring person I know. God will reward you.” Gemma tells her.
“God can keep his reward, I help because I wish to help. That’s never going to change regardless who shares my bed. Could you tell Ben to meet me tomorrow night at my fathers barn?” Louise asked her friend.
“Of course. Ben will be frilled to hear that you wish to run away with him. Don’t worry about anyone here we’ll be fine.” Gemma says with excitement as she just wants her friends to be happy. Watching Ben and Louise has inspired her to hope that one day a man looks at her the way Ben looks at Louise. Louise just relaxed into her friends arms and lets her believe that as Louise is going to end things completely with Benjamin.

“With Louise being connected to Satan and Bea draining her, the dark energy latched onto Bea’s dark energy and awoken it.” Selene says, James can see that she’s worried about his daughter.
“What does that mean?” James asked her.
