Chapter 1
Ch1 The Forgotten King
The Prologue
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. It was a world of peace, and on the sixth day, He created man in His own image—Adam, and his companion, Eve. He gave them only one rule: do not eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. But a serpent, an agent of the ancient enemy, tricked them. With one bite, sin entered the world, and like a poison, it began to spread.
Centuries later, God sent His Son to atone for those sins. He was sacrificed and rose three days later, ascending to heaven. For a time, His words reached billions, even as His followers were tormented and called witches. But as the centuries turned into millennia, the world chose darkness. Sin didn’t just spread; it manifested.
Demons rose from the abyss, erasing the memory of Jesus and His words. Now, sin is the world’s currency. Monsters spawn from the shadows of men’s hearts, and humanity huddles behind massive walls. The rich and the powerfulusescience to craft “miracle” serums for strength and speed, while those at the bottom—the forgotten—get nothing but the scraps.
Su’s POV
A man sprinted down the narrow, grime-covered street, a bag of cash clutched to his chest. Behind him, a heavy-set merchant roared in fury.
“Su! Get back here, you little sh**!”
“Nah, I’m good!” Su yelled back, a grin tugging at his lips.
He veered right into a cramped alleyway. He grabbed the rung of a rusted wall ladder. He scrambled to the roof and yanked the ladder up just as the merchant reachedfor the ladder.
“Get your a** back here!” the man screamed, shaking a fist.
Su smirked at him. “Not in this life!”
He turned and bolted across the rooftops, leaping over gaps between buildings until he found another ladder. He slid down and ducked into the shadows of the slums, heading forhome.
“There it is” his house was a makeshift tent made of scavenged tarp and discarded metal. Su crawled inside, his chest heaving. He opened the bag, the sight of the crumpled bills making him chuckle.
“Too easy,” he whispered.“Now that I’ve got some cash, I can finally get a real meal.”His stomach gave a loud, painful growl. Yeah,I’m definitely hungry.
Su wandered the lower district until he found a small, weathered ramen stall. An old lady stood behind the counter, the steam from the pots curling around her gray hair. Su sat down and ordered a bowl of miso ramen. When it arrived, he didn’t wait; he inhaled the noodles, slurping loudly.
“Are you okay, dear?”the old lady asked softly. “You look like you’ve had a hard day.”
Su paused, a noodle hanging from his mouth. “I’m doing alright,” he mumbled.(that was a surprised in this part of the city, nobody was ever nice without wanting something in return.)Across the street, a brawl was breaking out, but the old lady didn’ even glance.
(weird)
“Are you fulfilled in life, Su?”she asked suddenly.
Su stared at her.(Why is she asking that? I feel fine.)
The lady reached into her apron and pulled out a small object.(it looked like an Ankh, but something was different about it.)
“This is a cross,” the lady said. The lady hands Su the cross"The cross represents Jesus. Do you know who that is?”
Su shook his head. “Nah. Never heard of him.”
“He’s the kindest, gentlest man you could ever know,” she said, a sad smile on her face.
“Really?” Su raised an eyebrow. “So, where is he now?”
The lady looked him straight in the eyes. “He is in heaven.”
(Oh, greatanother sob story). Su sighed. “I’m sorry for your loss.”
“Don’t be.He’s alive. Afterall... He's God.”
Su’s face twisted in confusion. “Lady, what are you talking about?”
Suddenly, a siren tore through the air—a high-pitched, terrifying wail. People on the street began to panic, diving for cover.(Sh*t,I’ve got to get out of here.)Su looked up and saw figures moving on the rooftops above.(F u** the Secret Police.)
“I’ve got to go,” Su told the lady, tossing some coins on the counter. “You should, too!”
He turned to run, but his curiosity got the better of him. He quickly dived behind a trash bin and peaked out and saw two officers jump from the roof, landing with unnatural grace in front of the stall.(arethey here to stop the fight.)
“Make a Room,” one officer commanded.
The second officer clapped his hands. Instantly, a shimmering blue box expanded from the cop palms, encasing the entire ramen stall in a translucent cube. (why are they going after her and not the guys fighting)
A minute passed. Then, the blue box vanished.
The stallwas aruin. Bloodwas splattered across the counter,(the old lady...she’s gone). It was a sight so horrifying thatSu felt his stomach do a flip. The officer who had created the box suddenly turned, the cop cold gaze scanning the alley and saw Su.
(F***!Did He see me i can’t tell cause of their mask)
Su bolted. He tore through the maze of alleyways, his heart hammering against his ribs like a trapped bird. He didn’t stop until he reached his makeshift tent, diving inside and trembling. He stayed awake for hours, clutching a piece of jagged metal, waiting for a knock that never came. Eventually, exhaustion won.
As soon as Su closed his eyes, the darkness of the tent vanished. He found himself standing in a place of blinding, beautiful light. In the center stood a figure so bright Su had to shield his eyes.
“Su” a voice resonated, sounding like a thousand rushing waterfalls, yet peaceful as a whisper. “I have chosen you.”
“Who are you?” Su stammered, falling to his knees.
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”
“But... what’s your name?”
“Jesus,” the man replied. “And I need you to do something for me.”
(isn't that the name the lady said)
“I need you to defeat the Seven Deadly Sins.”
Su’s jaw dropped. ”What?!? First, you want me to fight seven high-tier demons or what ever i don’t even know what that is ? And second... why can’t you just do it yourself I don’t got no power. Why can’t you do it if you’re so powerful?”
Jesus simile “Of course I can do it Myself,” the man said gently. “But I need you to spread My gospel. I chose you because you know what the people feel. You have walked their streets, I need you to show them my power so that they know who I am. If you believe in Me, nothing is impossible. This is your time to do what I’ve made you to do but it's your choice do you want to join me.”
Su felt tears pricking his eyes. He bowed his head, his hands trembling. ”I’ll accept,” he whispered. ”Thanks for not giving up on me.”
He looked up, and though the face was still hidden by light, he knew the man was smiling back.
“I won’t fail you,” Su promised.
