Really enjoyed it
"Well, I can't say what I thought of this story when i first started it, it was a case of "another story to read, to occupy time", but it quickly became something I couldn't easily walk away from, the characters are so well defined and so real. Freddie's situation with his family and wife almost mirror my own parents and us kids, except that we did stay in touch with dad until he passed. Freddie is my dad up to a point, he had money and did leave it to us all, which is all my siblings cared about at the end of the day. He was a hard man to like, like Freddie. Oliver was a bit of an idiot at times, overthinking everything to the point of making himself ill, but that's what people do sometimes, I do it, not to that extent but I do. The characters are all so relatable and it really is a wonderful love story."

"What a journey. I became totally absorbed with the intricacies of Oliver and Maxie's story. I even found myself reading passages I felt moved by, to my wife (something she tolerates with kindly exasperation). Of course there is less impact out of the context of the surrounding narrative, but some passages held resonance with my own experiences and awakened memories rarely visited during advancing age. This is also the reason I prefer completed stories so I don't lose the plot between chapter releases! Thank you for sharing your work with us. "
