Gripping.
"I normally find mysteries too predictable to be fun. But this, while I did see a few things coming, was in no way predictable, while at the same time every twist and turn made perfect sense. And the love between the main characters, was a very welcome undercurrent to the danger that seemed to be around every turn."

"Finally again a story that wasn't written with AI.I really enjoyed it because it has a bit of romance, crime, humor and erotik. Would recommend reading the first two stories first. "
Amazing read
"*cracks fingers* Ok! This has been one of the most emotional adventures I've ever experienced. I'm not talking only as a book, I'm talking as a piece of media. Great, authentic characters you can relate to? Check! Great plot with great plot twists? Check! Great writing, producing all sorts of emotions, from happy to sad to angry to everything? Check! Honestly, I can't find a flaw with Two to Twelve! I went in new to mystery and thriller books and came out a fan of the genre and, of course, of D.R. Solo! I recommend this book as a fantastic read to absolutely everybody! So long as you don't have a problem with people in distress, a bit of "spice" and people getting hurt, you're in for a fantastic time! On a more personal note, this book kept me company throughout the days I've been reading it. From my work breaks to my chillouts after it. For that, I want to sincerely thank D.R. Solo for writing a book that meant something to me. So, thanks! For everything."

Incredible characters❤️
"👍🔥A gripping story featuring Detective Charlie Greyson and journalist Nadine Sullivan, whom I’ve already grown accustomed to from the first book, “The Darkest Hour”. In this one, they’re teaming up again to fight crime. However, this time they have to face two serial killers at once, one of whom has become genuinely “obsessed” with Nadine. And it is precisely this obsession — or rather, the Vampire Killer, as he was dubbed at the precinct — that made this installment incredibly cool! I’ve never been inside a serial killer’s head before, and the author conveyed it brilliantly — for which I applaud her. Yes, there were chapters from his perspective, and it was “wow”! So overall, the narrative was told from three perspectives. 😎So, the plot is great, fast-paced, and well-thought-out. The characters evoked a range of emotions in me, which I appreciate in books because it made them feel alive, and I believed in them — their experiences, their words, and their actions. At certain moments, Charlie was so convincing that I was shocked. The author really did an excellent job conveying nearly every scene — from the steamy ones to the confrontation with the maniac. 🫂The characters are well-developed, each with their own problems and fears (especially Charlie), and everyone has their own motivations and values. And this applies even to the secondary characters, who surprised me with their actions — though I had expected something completely different, but that’s actually for the better. The author understands her characters’ psychology, so there are no “clones” among them. And even Nadine managed to annoy me with her risky and reckless actions — it’s so true to life. ⚡The atmosphere of the book, like the previous one, reminded me a lot of “Castle.” Only here the characters seem to have switched places, but the crimes, the romance, and sometimes some funny situations — all of that did the trick. Overall, I like how the author writes and crafts the plot, which I didn’t always see coming. 🫶⭐😍🫂 "
This story has it all!
"Suspense, action, romance, steamy scenes, and great characters all set amid a compelling fictional true crime murder mystery backdrop? It's a lot to balance in one story but the author does it very well. I love the way the relationship between the two main characters binds it all together and allows for a full range of emotions to unfold along with their story. Even when it's about trying to catch the killer, it's really all about Nadine and Charlie and what it all means for them, watching them navigate this struggle together. It definitely kept me on my toes!"
Mystery and love
"A story with so many voices that it keeps you reading, wanting to understand what lies behind each character. The perspective from the killer adds a new, more complex layer, allowing the reader into his thoughts. And that plot twist—I really didn’t see it coming, it was a true turning point in the novel. I also loved the relationship between Charlie and Nadine; it feels natural and full of warmth. A thriller that beautifully blends danger and love."
They're back!
"That review title works on more than one level. But, the important ones - Charlie and Nadine are back and elbows deep in murders - old and new. Add a stalker to the mix and both of them are in danger which means the stakes are higher. Fun read with great characters and a little bit of spice to go along with it."
Riveting and Gripping (Two to Twelve)
"This story goes above and beyond what a typical murder mystery offers. The scenes are riveting and gripping, always having me theorising and anticipating the next chapter. I am on the edge of my seat. The POVs not only explore the minds and psyche of the detective and his crime podcaster wife, but also of two killers. And I am so here for it! They all make me feel mixed emotions, especially dread and excitement. I can't wait for the rest of it. Edit: Now having finished the story, I loved the tender and emotional moments that followed the tension and all the cliffhangers. 😊 A very enjoyable read overall was this story."
That opening
"That opening... The author has me wondering if she stole the idea from somewhere. Catches you completely off guard. There are only three chapters available, so I'm a little reluctant to review at this time, but here I go anyway. The attention to detail is impressive. The writer goes out of her way to make you feel like you're part of the experience. The first two chapters are well balanced with suspense, character development and plot. In chapter three, things are a little off. By this point, we should see more human interaction. More talking. More slowing down so we can get to know Charlie. His strengths, his weaknesses. It's not enough to be told what's happening. You must show it. I don't go out of my way to read murder mysteries/crime procedurals but if they come my way I find myself heavily immersed and calling everything into question. So if that's the type of read you're looking for, put your Sherlock hat on and tag along. An impressive offering that had me thinking "

"Call me intrigued when you opened with the killer's POV. Your blurb made me think it was between Charlie and Nadine but the killer just entered the chat as well! I can't wait to see more world building with this story, it's got a great base – it's right up my alley!"
