Intriguing Sci-Fi with Amazing Characters
"I’m really enjoying this story so far. The plot is intriguing and keeps pulling me in chapter after chapter. There’s a great sci-fi atmosphere, and I’m genuinely curious to see where everything is heading. The characters are one of the strongest parts of the book. They all feel distinct and memorable, but Jack is definitely my favorite. His sarcastic personality and funny dialogue make every scene with him entertaining to read. Another strong point is the dialogue overall. It feels very natural and flows well between characters, which makes their interactions believable and engaging. The writing itself is good, and I can already see a lot of potential in the author’s style. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to let some scenes breathe a little more and make them slightly more immersive. At times, the story moves through dialogue so quickly that it almost feels like reading a script. Adding a bit more atmosphere, emotions, or description between conversations could make the scenes even stronger. Overall, I definitely recommend this story and I’m excited to keep following it. Looking forward to reading the “Something Old” chapter 😉"

Fast-Paced Sci-fi with heart.
"This sci-fi action novel really draws you in because the pace never lets up. It’s the kind of story that drops you straight into the action and keeps the momentum going chapter after chapter. What stood out most were the characters. We get to know them through sharp, natural dialogue instead of long exposition dumps. Their voices are distinct, and you can feel who they are just from how they talk. Underneath all the action there’s also a deeper emotional meaning — the book isn’t just thrills, it actually has heart and something to say. The structure takes some getting used to. Chapters jump between characters quickly and the switches aren’t always clear, which the writer clearly intended for momentum. It works once you adjust, but a few more transition cues would make it easier to track on a first read. The story leans heavy into dialogue and action, which keeps things moving. Adding more inner thoughts, description, and imagery in spots would give the action more weight and balance the pace. Those quieter beats would let the emotional moments land even harder. Overall though, this is a solid sci-fi story with heart. If you like fast action, strong character voices, and stories that care about more than just explosions, you’ll find a lot to enjoy here. "
