Poetry and Story

"The way the author uses language to describe the environment and the people's interactions to it and the foundation for how they live their lives, like music being written and slightly uncooperative notes and melodies is beautiful and interesting. It is descriptive without being so vague as to be unclear about the story and still manages to move the narrative forwards. It brings to mind a deliberate and thoughtful people and culture that blends science and an understanding give and take with nature and the more intangible aspects of human nature such as tradition and superstition - this then blends into something soft and encompassing - a cultural religion and way of life. Something about this authors writing style really struck a chord with me. "
