Vivid imagery that leaps off the pages
"Vivid imagery. Mad chemistry between the leads. Mindblowing story telling that will keepnyou on the edge of your seat! Naughty flirtation in the shadows while they struggle to survive post apocalyptic horrors including Zeds and other human survivors. Not my usual vibe. The only thing I can think of that comes even close is warm bodies(lol how old is this movie? Am I super old?). Pleasantly surprised. If you're not usually into this kind of thing but you're all about romance, I would give it a shot anyway. Yes it's a slow burn, but there's a way to write slow burn and this is it. Love love it. Two things that the author could improve upon:1) that beginning. It slows down the pace. A little repetitive. Make it past that first chapter and you'll be glad you did though. 2) The side characters. They all kind of blend together. Ryan and Will are the only ones that make a decent attempt at being interesting. And there are many side characters, all introduced at once. Gave me whiplash. Felt no connection to them. Unless they're dying soon, I'd say invest some time in them or remove some of them. I didn't get what the point of having so many of them was. Maybe it went over my head. I don't know. Consider introducing them as needed instead of all at once. All in all, despite my critiques, I enjoyed myself immensely and will be back to see how things progress. If you're into being teased, I don't know why I want you but I must have you, cardinal attraction kind of vibes, this is for you. "
Authentic post zombie apocalyptic romance!
"World building is fantastic. Characters have an authentic natural charm to them that makes you laugh and gasp out loud. The way the author structures the events and sensory descriptions leaves me feeling excited, anxious, amused and overall it really has a physical effect. Definitely want to see more and can't wait to get that juicy dopamine hit once tensions are (hopefully) released!"
A racy, breathless survival romp!
"I am totally invested in these characters. I definetly identify with one of them - let's see how this unfolds, i'll keep my predictions to myself for now! Really well writen, great character developemnt and narrative progression. Lots of humor, inuendos and playful use of language to be had here as well as being structurally satisfying! Cant wait for the next chapter! "
