🎭 Prologue
The phone call came just after midnight. Calm, somber, and final. I froze, unsure if the world had stopped or if it was just me. Somewhere in a house filled with memories, a secret waited — hidden, patient, and dangerous.
Boxes, letters, photographs, a small, worn lockbox I had once ignored now seemed alive, almost whispering. I wasn’t ready to face it. Not yet.
But the first clues had clawed their way back. Questions I hadn’t dared to ask stirred like shadows in the corners. The past wasn’t done with me. And whatever was waiting in that house... it wasn’t done either.
