I'm hungry

I'm hungry.

I'm thirsty.

Not for food

But for a soul

I'm so hungry that it hurts.

Nothing longer fills me.

I want simple.

Yet raw

I want fire.

I heard the sad whispers follow.

You can't be selective when you're hungry.

I replied.

Raw hunger knows what it wants.

Feeding the soul is like wetting the root of a tree for it to grow.

Some hunger can't be quenched even with a substitute.

It will only make you crave harder.

Like the land waiting for the rain

I'm hungry.

My soul is hungry.

Like a lion starving for fresh meat even after being fed

I'm hungry for the soul.

But you're not the soul they say.

That's the problem because I remember being the soul, not the body.

And the soul needs its food. .

They say,

Try meditation.

Try grounding.

But it creates balance for the body.

What about the soul hunger?

It's yearning for the soul.

The name of the soul was written under my skin before birth.

I crave it. 😩

I'm hungry.

They say filter it.

Sieve it.

So not to have particles

What if it's the particles you crave?

I want unfiltered.

I want bare.

I want obscene.

I want to stand between Acts and Corinthians.

I want Roman's.

Not Romance

The whispers again

There are many fishes in the river.

I laughed and replied,

But this particular fish lives on land.

I'm hungry.

Because my soul is hungry.

I've tasted from a forbidden truth.

And now I can't forget the taste, like denatonium.

I told him not to mark my body. But my soul

And now the mark is deep within.

So tell me,

How does it fill my hunger?

How do I fill a soul?

When it's so damn hungry
