Chapter 1- Brunette
150 teenagers
75 male
75 female
All placed on one single island.
All told of a prize
If they could last four days. They'd be brought back and given a prize
They'd be brought back.
They'd be brought back.
They'd be brought back.
They'd be brought back.
They'd be brought back.
Right?.
DAY #1
Jack.
That is the name of a boy currently resting on the sandy beach. The oceans tide and small waves splashing up around him. And his green eyes opened, squinting as the sun hit them.
Then, another boy stands over him, looking down at him. He was on the pudgier side, with short brown hair and almost perpetually flushed cheeks, and he wore these round glasses that were currently slipping down his plump face.
"Are you okay?." The pudgy boy asked, an English accent present yet barely noticable.
"Yeah, I'm fine" jack responded, sitting up. "say, who are you?." He asks, short chocolate brown hair falling over his face
"M'names David. You?."
"Jack."
"Lovely to meet you Jack" David says as he offers a hand to Jack, pulling him up
Both boys wore the same outfit, a baggy long-sleeve grey shirt with dark grey trousers
The two walk along the shore, talking, wondering about the prize. They were apart of this social expirament, called "The Mirror Project" said to mirror the deepest insecurities and fears back at the participant, but only for four days. Then they would leave and return to civilization.
As the boys walked, David spotted something. A whistle. He picked it up and handed it to Jack
"One of me old school coaches used to blow into these stupid things. It made a horrid sound" David commented as his chubby fingers offered the whistle to Jack, who accepts the whistle
"You?, you're in sports?. Really?." Jack asks incredulously, turning the whistle over in his palm and examining it
"Nah, but I had to have some sort of gym credit. So, I took kickball as a gym extracurricular." The plump boy responds, cleaning his glasses off with a handkerchief he had managed to keep a hold of
Jack responds with an interjection of "hm". Then he blows the whistle. The sharp, screeching sound of it ringing through the forested areas of the island. Fog had rolled in every morning and stayed every day, making the forest seem darker and labrynthine. Then, footsteps

Ten
Tens of pairs of footsteps. More than ten. Hundreds.
73 boys arrived
75 females arrived
All wearing the same grey outfit as Jack and David. Then, a boy steps forward. Leaner, but agile. With golden blond hair, skin white yet tinted olive, eyes sharp and blue yet worried, in a way.
"What was that?." The boy asked, voice harsh yet confused. Jack holds up the whistle and shows it to the boy, who's eyes narrow as he sees it.
"That sounded like an animal" the boy said, still tracking Jack's every move
"I assure you, it was this whistle...and who are you?..." Jack assured and asked, looking at the boy
"Andrew. Andrew H. Matheson" the boy responded, still watching Jack
"Nice to meet you, Andrew, I'm Jack" Jack introduced as he offered a handshake to Andrew, whom simply glances at Jack's hand then back at his face. His arm not moving a single inch
"Okay then.." Jack starts, his hand falling limp to his side. "David, could you please get all the names?."
David looks at Jack then at the crowd of people. "I ain't gonna remember all of these folks names!." David says, his eyes returning to Jack
"Well, try." Jack suggests, his eyes scanning the crowd
"You're going to have this pig keep track of everything you do?." Andrew asks, still glaring at Jack
"Hey, he's not a pig. He's David." Jack states, smiling
"He's a pig." Andrew insists
"Well, I'd disagree." Jack responds, taking a step closer to Andrew.
"I say we have somebody be a leader!." A younger teenager in the crowd suggests, causing some others in the crowd to talk amongst each other and cheer
"Jack should be the leader!, he has the whistle after all." David states, pushing his glasses back onto his small nose
"Nobody asked you, pig." Andrew states, glaring at David "I should be leader. These two dimwits wouldn't ever be able to keep any of you alive. " He concluded, looking at the crowd
"Lets have a vote!. Cheer if you think that Jack should be leader, cheer if you think Andrew should be leader. So, who wants Jack to be the leader?." David asks, whilst gesturing to Jack. The crowd practically erupts with cheering, some of the younger people who only barely got into the social expirament looking up to Jack— physically and socially, admiring his confidence.
"And Andrew?."
Cheers did erupt, but less. Slightly less.
"It's settled then, I'm the leader" Jack concluded, still smiling.
NIGHT
Jack rests in the small uninhabited pond near the shore, clothes folded and forgotten on a rock. He had quite an attractive body for his age.
"Hey, why'd'ya think Andrew was so angry?..." David asks, he was sitting on a rock not too far away trying to remember everybodies names
"Some people just are like that." Jack states, running a wet hand through his brown hair
DAY #2
In the morning, Jack had found that the trees held fruits. Edible fruits. So, he had some people climb up and have them drop the hard-shelled fruits. Whilst Andrew had ripped a branch off a tree and had fashioned it into a spear, one side had a rock tied to the end with vines, used for bludgeoning. The other side was sharpened, extremely so.
Andrew hadn't seen the point in climbing the trees and getting the fruit. Hunting would have been easier. Much easier.
But Andrew sat there, on a large stone, sharpening his spear and watching the calm scene currently unfolding around him

Of course, though, just know it will take a while to adapt into a comic
The story is currently attempting to be converted into a digital comic format. However, I still do have to figure out various business things and art things before it does start... Though I may start posting various test panels on some other platforms to see how a wider public enjoys it
If you have any specific platform to suggest on where the comic should be hosted, please do let me know
