Rebellion. Forced fate. Unwanted romance?
"Let me just get this out of my system. Then I'll say nice things... Because the book does have a strong plot. It's unbalanced. The exposition/inner monologue to dialogue ratio is completely off. You spent the first three chapters drowning us in world building and walls of text... And they were looooong chapters. Find ways to balance things out more so as not to overwhelm your reader. Now, to the nice things. The FMC is strong. Resilient. Relatable. She's got that I don't really know who I am (so she's probably super strong) thing going on. Plus she's a born leader. We love that. The MMC only shows up in chapter three. Things really take off once they meet though. You've got an unwanted fate on her part. A mysterious old guy that's obviously super hot for no reason. It's got all the ingredients for great fantasy. My pet peeve with the imbalance is maybe the only reason I'm gracefully bowing out. It's really good plot wise"
