My heart will go on...
She was completely shattered. Failure in every part of life. Marriage, career, health. All worsened. Why live in pain and suffering.? She thought committing suicide and end this suffering forever to meet her creator. Simultaneously, a voice whispered from inside.
"You know well it's prohibited in your religion Islam. It's destination is hell ultimately. How would you meet your creator then?"
Seeing her perplexed,the insulted one, grabbed this wonderful opportunity to mislead her from the straight path.The Devil whispered.
"God can forgive all the sins. Why worry.Do it now and set yourself free"
Puzzled by these whispers, she cancelled her plans of suicide. But with the time passing and trials becoming harder, she tilted more towards the devilish whisper.
It seemed the best way to end all the suffering at least.May be my destination is hell.
One morning, she woke up while all sleeping at home. Wore her Abaya and scarf. Took a ride to Seaside.
Walking barefoot on sand bed, she was moving forward. All of sudden , memories flashed back from the past. There was the time when she enjoyed going seaside on weekends. The warm water of Arabian Sea touched her feet like a welcoming kiss. She felt sort of tranquility in heart. Ah! Those moments !
And now, when she went deeper into waters, it seemed as if blue water waves touching her feet to stop and enjoy life again.
She re-thought , stepped back. Seeing her turning back to her creator, the devilish voice whispered from left side again.
Why living in pain in this duniya. You can end this suffering by drowning yourself into sea.
She moved further but suddenly stumbled. Two men rushed to save her by holding her hand. She was standing stable now in middle of sea. One of them continued holding her hand and took her to shore. Offered her some water and cookies. Sat with her.
She: I am sure nobody survives if fallen in sea.
He: Listen, Are you trying to commit suicide? Tell me.
She(hiding her real intentions): No. Just asking.
He: Let me take you to the place where high waves are present. Let's go.
So again holding her hand, he took him to the place. She was terrified, trembling with fear. Water waves were reaching their hips now.
He: You know if you get yourself drowned here, all the saltish water full of sand will enter your body.
She: Then?
He: Either you die or survive.
She: What if I survive?
He: Lungs failure can lead you a miserable life making you disabled forever.
She: And what if I die, then?
He: No one will own your deadbody here.Majority will persume you a sinner who took her life. Can I ask you for contact number of your family member?
She( feeling fearful indide): No .
He: Whom should I contact to get your deadbody if you die?
She felt so frightened. Out of fear , she changed her mind.
She: I don't want to die. Going back home now.
He: How would you go back? I can't see any cash or bag in your hand.
She: I will manage.No worries.
Feeling concerned for her, he made sure to accompany her till Rikshaw on side roard.
She took the rikshaw and reached home. Paid him by taking ibstabt cash from her sister. Afterwards, till her natural death within 2 years , she never ever thought of committing suicide, just like Rose of Titanic movie- a classic of this century.
The story ends here but few points to ponder:
• God makes sure to reach us through people to save us.
• Sometimes, some relations can be more precious than blood relations.
• God is all-seeing. He sees and sends His help miraculously.
• God can change hearts in blink of second.
Put your full trust in God and He will never abandon you.
