The Eternal Imprint of Love

"This story immediately draws the reader in, with beautifully described settings. It's a wedding day in 1928 and the bride arrives in a Buick Monarch Phaeton, which sets the scene so well. As a writer, I look for these inventive, imaginative 'moments' that are so important to good story telling. I immediately fell in love with the protagonist and his young wife, Gemma. A modern couple, much in love but tied to the past through a mysterious picture found in a curio shop. I originally was going to read a few chapters, give a review and go on with my day. I could NOT stop reading this story. I finished it because I had to. It was that damned good a tale. It is very short but length has nothing to do with quality because this writer delivers on all counts. it's a very human thing when something touches our hearts, our minds and makes us wonder and think and smile. This writer covers all bases in those essential areas. I will read anything he writes and cannot wait to get back to his other efforts. I was so happy to see he has so many stories posted. I know where my spare time will be from this moment on. I actually had a similar thing happen to me in a curio shop when I was in my teens. I won't go into it, nor was I transported anywhere but that eerie, haunting...inexplicable something that this writer conveyed here, was done so well, it took me instantly back to that moment because he captured the essence of whatever it was in that shop...exceedingly well. Gave me goosebumps but in the nicest possible way. READ THE STORY! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AUTHOR "

Interesting short story

"It was interesting to read this short story and discover some elements that I like to read, for example traveling throw time. Also, at the beginning of this story I thought that maybe this is going to be plot about discovering who the murder was, and that is the reason why protagonist is traveling back. But at this way we have the doubt is this was a dream or it really happened. Easy for reading, very nice work from this author."
