"I'm having a lot of fun reading "Rent a Boy"! The author's writing style is catchy and fun. I especially love the cat's pov as it gives that wonderful 3rd person perspective and ads a lot of additional and witty depth to the story. I can't wait to read the rest!"

"While romance is not a genre I read often (or at all), the way Isla writes, it's hard not to keep coming back. The writing is breezy and makes it easy to indulge in the references, similes, metaphors and everything else in between that is almost always impeccable! Evie reads just like a few different women I know, which makes reading through her parts super relatable. "

"THIS IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The fmc’s perspective, the mmc’s but forget those, WE GOT A CAT’S PERSPECTIVE! Zuzu is the perfect example of every cat’s behaviour and as sassy and critical he is, his owner, Evie, also has that familiar sass. And honestly, I just love it. Evie is absolutely perfect in the sense that she’s overthinking, clumsy and the typical hyperventilating mess that most creative people are. And she’s definitely a big softie in the heart which is very realistic, coming from a big softie here! And Leo, it’s kinda sad being the responsible adult at a young age and having to mature to look after someone but hey, at least Evie has his feathers ruffled😅 He seems like he wants to pretend that he’s an enigma but around someone like Evie, that’s definitely not possible. Even I wouldn’t be able to hold back a grin. Overall, the grammar is great, punctuation too and this story definitely deserves more love. I can’t wait to read more of this, especially Zuzu’s pov;)) Keep up the great writing, you’re doing awesome. XX Karmen Kay"

Chaotic, Charming, and Utterly Addictive
"This story hooked me from the start with its unique mix of humor, and heart. Evie is the perfect chaotic heroine — clumsy, messy, and yet so endearing that you can’t help but root for her. Leo, on the other hand, is written brilliantly as the brooding, calculating counterbalance to her energy, and the sparks between them practically leap off the page. What really makes this story stand out, though, is Zuzu the cat’s POV. It’s hilarious, snarky, and adds such a fun twist to the storytelling. The feline commentary alone is worth the read, but paired with the sizzling chemistry and laugh-out-loud moments, it’s pure entertainment. With only 6 chapters so far, it’s already clear this book has a ton of potential. If you’re looking for a romance that’s sexy, witty, and refreshingly different, this one is absolutely worth diving into. Can’t wait to see where it goes from here!"
