Prologue
It was a busy night at the bridge, the late night honking of vehicles hoping to get pass another as the traffic ensued the people, from the truck drivers listening to the country music whilst cars filled with workers and other individuals some trying to hurry after working a late night shift, others after a late night partying event and some just wanted to cruise around the city, the elegance of it’s beauty brought admiration to the people of the town drawing great understanding and safety to the people.
A driver was able to arrive at the town's entrance point, where there is usually no police presence, so it surprised the driver that there were there at all.
‘good evening sir how are you doing this fine evening?’
‘I’m good officer thank you, mind me asking about the need of your officers presence here since you people are not fond of being around here as much’
‘sorry to have frightened you folks but we’ve got orders to monitor the bridge as we were tasked to catching someone whom was trying to enter the town’
‘is the person that dangerous officer?’
‘don’t put to much thought into sir, they is nothing to much that the police couldn’t handle-’ he officer stated as he heard a loud explosion form the bridge.
‘what just happened?’
‘sir it seems that there was explosion at the middle section of the bridge’ another officer replied before continuing his statement ‘could it be the person that we’re looking for’
‘not sure’ he replied then responded ‘but we have to get the people to calm down and exit the bridge do you hear me!’
‘yes sir’ the officers in duty shouted in unison.
The officer in charge instructed two other officer to follow him while the others reach out to help the people nearby and ensure they get to the other side of the fine with aid provided, they rushed forward to the scene of the incident ordering the people to leave the bridge while they moved telling his officers to keep their eyes sharp and focus on the objective and move to the goal.
The team arrived on the scene and saw a fire coming out from the truck he saw the driver desperately crying out for someone to help as he struggled to get out amidst the truck was about catching fire, the leading officer realizing this, called on his team to help as it seemed that gas was about to explode.
Without another second to spare they rushed and burst open the the truck as they were able to rescue the man. Meanwhile the leader turned his attention to the other cars that were close to the truck and looked closer to see what had caused seeing that the other cars around it had exploded he wondered what led to the simultaneous explosions he looked to check the vehicles but saw that the people in the car were dead, he sighed knowing it the reports he was going to write it was not going to be easy and just when he wanted to call out to his other officers. He began to hear the honking of van driving at full speed working it’s way through the tight spaces of the bridge with other smaller vehicles following suit, seeing this he wanted to take aim and fire but was was unsure of what was going on and just when he wanted to open fire he heard another sound of a vehicle this being a power bike as it seemed to in pursuit or it had been late to join the others without another moment this time to hesitate opened fire but the bike was already far gone but was able to take down one of the tires believing that it was enough but somehow the rider was able to balance the force impacted from the bullet and moved on without much trouble as if he had done enough damage to take down the alleged assailant but as he as he ran his officers told him that they needed to leave that truck gas cylinder was about to explode and that they needed to hurry before…
Without another second to spare the truck went off and exploded producing a mass sea of flames and it seemed to be engulfing the bridge in it’s wake causing the leading office to run for his life but it was too late as the fire had already engulfed half of his body, his clothes catch fire as he screamed in pain before finally jumping into the lake as the flames continued it’s rampage as it swept aacross the bridge.
