Vanessa watched in horror as Montgomery Gator destroyed her best friend, Glamrock Bonnie, through the cameras.

She was paralyzed, she didn't know what to do; her body wasn't reacting, and she wasn't thinking clearly.

Besides, what could she do? She was the night security guard, but she was alone; she had no help, and she couldn't stand up to the devastating force the gator possessed.

"What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?!" Her mind was screaming for her to move, but she didn't know exactly what to do.

Many times we think we're prepared to face different situations. Sometimes we even rehearse just in case an unfortunate situation arises. However, people often don't know how to react well to a surprise event, like in Vanessa's case. The woman was completely terrified.

The only thing she could think of was to set off an intruder alarm at Monty Golf. This made the Alligator nervous, and he tried to hide the Rabbit's mangled body in some thick bushes nearby. Then he started looking around in case anyone was watching.

That was her moment; she had to go get Bonnie's carcass and save what was left.

She ran toward the attraction; many Staffbots were already heading there too because of the alarm.

Vanessa ran as fast as she could and got into Monty Golf, heading straight for where Monty had hidden the remains. But to her surprise, she saw Monty carrying the Rabbit's lifeless body away as fast as he could.

She wanted to scream, she was about to throw herself at him and shout, "MURDERER!" but she knew she didn't have time for that at that moment, as Monty was getting farther and farther away. She was about to follow him, but the other robots' footsteps forced the Alligator to hide the Rabbit again, and he moved away a little.

Vanessa seized the moment, approaching; she was horrified when she saw her friend's condition. Monty had ripped off his face; he only had one arm, the rest of the body was completely damaged, and the wires were sticking out, giving off small sparks.

She planned to take Bonnie, but he was too heavy to carry. Monty was getting closer, so the only thing she could think of was to grab the AI memory from the Rabbit's head and get away.

However, because of the alarm that went off, she had to pretend to be looking for an intruder. The other Glamrocks helped, and even the Staff helped. Even Monty helped, but he didn't leave the area where he had hidden Bonnie.

In a moment, everything calmed down, and when she returned to the place where she had last seen her friend, he was gone. She searched all over Monty Golf but couldn't find him.

Things got complicated, and when the doors opened, the manager asked her why she'd activated the alarm.

"Something horrible happened at Monty Golf," she said. "Come check the cameras, I'll show you."

However, when they were a little farther away, they saw Montgomery coming out of the office.

"No..." she thought. "What are you doing there, you animal?!"

"Monty!" she couldn't help but shout at him. The alligator jumped in fright.

"O-Officer Vanessa, Manager, what's up?" he greeted nervously.

"Why the hell are you here, you wretch?!" she wanted to say, but controlled herself.

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be on your ride?"

"Yes... but I wanted to see who had broken into my ride last night. We couldn't find the intruder anywhere, so I wanted to check the cameras."

"The cameras?" Vanessa panicked and rushed into the office. She looked for the recordings of Monty destroying Bonnie, but they were gone.

"That imbecile..."

"T-They're not there," her voice trembled. Monty had deleted the recordings.

"Aren't they there?" asked the manager, entering.

"The recordings where Mont-" she stopped, realizing almost too late what she was going to say. "T-The recordings of Monty Golf tonight. Everything that had happened was there."

"What? They're not there?" The manager approached, incredulous. He tried to search, but realized that the recording of most of the night from the Cayman ride was gone.

Vanessa looked at the alligator accusingly.

"You deleted them, didn't you?" She wanted to make it sound less harsh, but her mouth betrayed her.

"W-What? Of course not! I just came to see who had broken into my Golf, but I couldn't find any trace of the recording. In fact, that's what I wanted to tell you." Monty feigned innocence. "I was going to come find you, Officer Vanessa. I wanted to tell you I couldn't find the security recording."

"So why didn't you call me on the FazWatch?"

"I tried, but you didn't answer." Vanessa looked at her FazWatch.

"There's no call log here, no messages." She showed him her watch.

"Maybe they didn't go online. Has your FazWatch been working properly lately?" Vanessa had a small twitch in her eye.

How hard is this guy playing? How did he know his FazWatch has been malfunctioning?

"A little, but it seems strange to me that I haven't received calls, every time they call me the call comes in"

"If you have any doubts, you can check my system."

"I don't think it's necessary, Montgomery," the Manager finally said, seeing the tension. "There's no need to fight. Vanessa..." He turned to the woman. "...we'll give you another FazWatch so you don't have any problems. Monty..." He turned to the alligator. "...next time I hope that when you want to view the recordings, you ask for the proper permission and don't enter the office without authorization."

"My apologies," said the alligator, bowing his head.

The Manager turned back to the computer, thoughtful.

"It's possible the intruder got in here and erased the evidence," he said after a pause.

"I think so too." Monty nodded.

"Because the intruder is you!" Vanessa wanted to yell at him.

Later, the Manager left because they couldn't find Bonnie anywhere, and thinking that perhaps the "intruder" had taken the animatronic, he ordered an investigation.

Vanessa and Monty watched him walk away.

"Didn't you see anything?" she asked the alligator. "In the videos, didn't you see anything before or after the lost recording?"

Monty looked at her and shook his head.

"No. There was no sign of anyone having entered. You only see Bonnie entering Monty Golf before disappearing. After that, there's nothing."

Vanessa studied his expression. It was calm, feigning concern, but nothing more; there was no threat or anything. It was a relief because it meant he hadn't seen her approach Bonnie's body.

If Monty knew that she knew that he... No, for the moment it was better to keep up appearances and not give him any clues that she knew.

"Go back to your place. The customers will start coming soon."

"Sure, Officer," he said with some enthusiasm. "See you" he said and left.

Vanessa clenched her fists.

"That wretch knew," she muttered. Monty knew about her FazWatch not working properly, so he used that excuse to get his way when he obviously never told her anything. "Montgomery Gator, you'll pay for this!"

The show was just beginning. Since Bonnie wasn't there, Monty replaced him. Vanessa watched from afar, filled with anger and a thirst for revenge.

This wouldn't stay like this.

She went home, fuming at the top of her lungs. She had to make sure Bonnie's AI memory wasn't damaged, so once she got home, she plugged the memory into her computer.

"Come on, Bonnie. Tell me you're still there," she said, clicking and opening a tab, praying to God that her friend hadn't disappeared.

There was static for a moment, then the computer's camera turned on, the tab turned purple, and a voice emerged.

"V-Vanessa?" The voice coming from the computer sounded confused. "What... What happened?"

"Bonnie!" the woman screamed involuntarily and hugged the computer. "You're alive!"

"Vane, where are we? Why can't I move? Are we still in the PizzaPlex?" Sobs stopped him. "Vane? Are you okay?" The woman didn't leave.

"Bonnie. I thought I'd lost you." Up until that moment, she hadn't cried for the loss of the Rabbit. From the moment she saw him being destroyed, through everything that happened that day, until she got home and heard his voice, she didn't cry.

And once the first tear came out, she couldn't stop. She was so relieved.

She had to tell him everything that had happened, she had to tell him what she saw and what she did to have him there with her now.

"Yes, I remember. That's why I was so confused when I woke up here." His voice took on a different tone. "You were very brave, thank you, Vane."

"You're my best friend. I couldn't leave you there." She lowered her head. "I'm sorry. I couldn't see where he left your body, nor could I find it no matter how hard I looked."

"It's okay. I'm sure they'll find it. Fazbear Entertainment is very possessive about their things anyway."

Vanessa frowned at him.

"You're not a thing, Bonnie," he laughed.

"I know, but to them I am." Vanessa pouted in annoyance. "Did I tell you you look cute when you do that? Like a bunny with puffy cheeks."

"Bonnie!" the Rabbit laughed. "Ugh... Don't make me turn you off."

"No! No. Sorry," he gave one last laugh. "But seriously, you look cute like that." Vanessa smiled.

"Do you know why Monty did this to you?" Bonnie took a few seconds to respond. If he'd been in his suit, he would have grimaced.

"He said it was his turn to shine now and that I was in the way."

"That son of a...!" She stopped, holding back. "AAHH!" She screamed furiously. "I hate him! He dares to destroy you to get out of the way, then he takes your place in the show and plays the victim, the son of his lizard. Ugh! I want to kill him!"

"And it wasn't just that."

"What?" She stopped her fury to look at the purple screen again.

"He's also planning to hurt Freddy."

"WHAAAT?! What are you saying?!"

"It was one of the last things I heard. He wants to be the leader of the gang; he doesn't want to be behind anyone."

"I'm going to kill him. I'm going to kill him!"

"Calm down, Vane. You'll see that they'll find my body, then I can tell them everything."

But it wasn't to be. Time passed, and despite all the searching inside and outside the PizzaPlex, they were never able to find Bonnie's costume. Months passed, and people kept asking about the Glamrock bunny, and this led to a meeting with management about the matter.

Finally, after several months, the decision was made to discontinue Bonnie. He would no longer be sought out, he would no longer be spoken about in front of customers, and he would only be allowed to say anything if absolutely necessary. Montgomery would take his place from now on.

This decision made Vanessa's anger grow even more intense. How could they replace the most famous bunny in the entire history of Fazbear Entertainment with an ugly, green, snake with legs?

She tried to do something, complained to the manager, and even sent a letter to the higher-ups telling them it was Monty who had destroyed Bonnie and that she had seen it on camera. But they didn't believe her because she had no proof. They ignored her, and because of her insistence, they suspended her for a couple of days and threatened to fire her if she continued throwing tantrums.

Her hatred only grew, and her resentment toward the lizard only grew stronger, as Monty seemed very happy to have managed to take everything from the Rabbit. Even Bonnie's room had been changed to an Alligator theme.

Obviously, she had to tell all this to Bonnie, who was still logged into the woman's computer.

"It can't be," his voice sounded like that of someone who had lost all hope.

"I don't know what to do anymore, Bonnie. I did everything I could, but it didn't work," she said, hands on her head and a tired and frustrated expression.

It seemed like Monty had been planning everything. He had hidden Bonnie's body in a place no one seemed to know about. He had played the victim in a very believable way, and acted friendly and empathetic toward the others.

"It's not fair," Bonnie and she said at the same time.

Vanessa turned to look at him. The computer had a purple screen, implying the presence of Bonnie's AI. Since she regained his memory, the only way to talk to the Rabbit was by connecting it to her laptop. The AI connected to the computer system and could communicate through it. It could even explore the entire computer and the files on it. It wasn't something the woman was worried about. All she had that laptop for was to play a bunch of video games, save photos of her as a child and family members, or watch YouTube videos.

"I don't know what else to do, Bonnie. I'm sorry for failing you."

"You haven't failed me."

"But I couldn't even get back at you." She dropped her face onto the desk, exhausted. "I'm a lousy attempt at a best friend."

"It's not like that. You're the best human friend anyone could have." The woman didn't answer and just kept her head bowed.

Bonnie also remained silent. Wasn't there anything else to do? He couldn't stay like this; he wanted justice. If he wasn't going to come back, at least he wanted everyone to know the truth.

A feeling of bitterness and resentment began to course through his system, filling it, growing more and more as the seconds passed.

He wanted revenge. He wanted justice.

He wanted Monty to pay; he wanted to protect Freddy from the same fate he suffered.

But what could he do when he didn't even have a body?

"Bonnie," Vanessa's voice pulled him from his thoughts. "Do you want to watch a horror movie?"

What? A horror movie?

He saw his friend's face and realized she had asked him to ease the depressive atmosphere that had formed.

"Yes," he accepted.

Vanessa opened another tab on her computer, accessing the internet. She soon found an interesting horror movie and started watching it with her friend connected to the system.

They both watched a scene where the story's villain put on a mask and stalked his victim, getting closer and closer without the person noticing. The best part was about to begin when suddenly everything turned purple.

"VANESSA!!!" Bonnie suddenly shouted, causing his friend to freak out.

"AAAHHHH!! Bonnie! Why?!" she yelled, annoyed for having scared her like that. "Why did you do that?!"

"I have an idea!" he said in a strangely animated and enthusiastic tone.

"What?" she didn't understand. "An idea? About what?"

"I know how I can get revenge on Monty," she said. "But I'm going to need your help."

Vanessa blinked. What was that rabbit thinking?
