EPISODE 1

(Zoe takes a deep breath as she arrives at Rup's doorstep. Though she has been to his house several times and they have been dating for about six months now, she still feels a strange tension. Maybe it's because Rup said he had something important to discuss with her. Taking another deep breath, she gathers her courage and knocks on the door.)

Zoe: (Knocking)

(The door swings open, revealing Jeff, who greets her with a warm smile.)

Jeff: "Welcome, Zoe. Please, come inside."

Zoe: (Smiling) "Thanks, Jeff. By the way, where's Rup?" (She steps inside, glancing around the apartment.)

Jeff: "He's upstairs in his room. I was here doing some work for him, so I happened to be the one to open the door for you."

Zoe: (Concerned) "I hope he's not stressing you out. It's already late, and you're still working. When will you even go home?"

Jeff: (Sighs tiredly) "I'm a bit exhausted, honestly. But I need to finish this important task first. If I can't go home today, I'll just sleep here and head back in the morning."

Zoe: (Nodding , agreeing)"That’s alright, Jeff. Keep up the good work. Let me go check on him, okay?"

Jeff: (Feigning fear) "Please, go now before he slaps me for keeping his lovely girlfriend away from him."

Zoe: (Laughing) "I don't think he's that violent."

Jeff: "Who knows? The guy is madly in love with you."

Rup’s Room

(Zoe knocks on the door.)

Rup: (Smiling) "Come inside, my love."

(Zoe enters but still feels a bit nervous.)

Rup: (Holding her hands) "Babe, how are you? And why do I sense you're a bit nervous?"

Zoe: "Stop it, babe. Besides, may I ask what this important thing you wanted to discuss is?"

Rup: (Smiling teasingly) "Babe, relax a little. Don’t be so tense. I’m right here with you. Or do you think I’m going to eat you alive?"

Zoe: (Rolling her eyes) "Babe, stop joking."

Rup: "Alright, my queen. Here, take this. I already got your favorite pizza and ice cream since I knew you were coming."

(Zoe’s eyes light up with admiration, but her nervousness still weighs her down.)

Zoe: "Babe, I’ll have it later. But please, tell me what’s so important."

Rup: (Sighs deeply) "Alright, since you insist. My mom, aunt, and uncle are returning from abroad tomorrow. I plan to take them to a nice restaurant before they leave again, and…"

Zoe: (Feeling more anxious) "And? Why did you stop? Just say it already!"

Rup: (Smiling) "Alright, alright. Calm down, babe." (He sighs deeply before continuing.) "I want to introduce you to my family before they leave."

(Zoe finally relaxes, a wide grin spreading across her face.)

Zoe: (Grinning) "Why didn’t you say so earlier? You had me all tense for nothing!" (She playfully hits his arm.)

Rup: (Laughing) "It’s alright, babe. But you actually look cute when you’re nervous." (He winks at her.)

Zoe: (Blushing) "Stop it, babe."

Rup: "Alright, baby. Now, have your pizza and ice cream before they melt. It’s getting late, and I need to drive you home."

Zoe: (Feigning sadness, pouting) "I see how it is. You just want to get rid of me."

Rup: (Chuckling) "No, my queen. It’s just that you have early morning classes tomorrow, and you need to get some rest."

Zoe: (Eating) "Alright, babe."

Rup: "That’s more like my amazing woman. And don’t forget, I’ll pick you up after your classes tomorrow because we’re having lunch with my family. Okay?" (He kisses her cheek, making Zoe blush.)

(After Zoe finishes eating, they leave Rup’s room and head downstairs.)

Downstairs

Rup: (Surprised) "Jeff, why are you still here?"

Jeff: (Sighs tiredly) "I’m finishing up the work you gave me."

Rup: "It’s already late. You should go home and rest. You can continue tomorrow at the office. Besides, neither of us owns the company. If something happens to us, the company will go on just fine. So don’t overwork yourself, bro."

Jeff: "Yeah, you’re right. But you told me these files were needed by tomorrow. Since you're the manager and I’m your chief assistant, I should be here to help you."

(Rup suddenly realizes he had said that in a distracted moment earlier, as he was preoccupied with thinking about how to tell Zoe about meeting his family.)

Rup: (Clears throat) "Come on, man. These files are actually due next week. I must have misspoken."

Jeff: (Exclaims) "What? So I’ve been working endlessly for nothing? I see now—you’re just bullying me because I don’t have a beautiful girlfriend like Zoe!" (He feigns sadness.)

Rup: "Sorry, bro. Pack up. I’ll drop you off after taking Zoe home."

Jeff: "Thank goodness you still have a heart."

Zoe: (Smiling) "Take it easy, Jeff."

Jeff: "Thanks, dear. You’re caring, unlike your boyfriend, who wanted to work me to death." (He pouts.)

Rup: "I already apologized, Jeff. Let it go. Come on, my love, let’s wait for him in the car." (He takes Zoe’s hand softly.)

Jeff: (Clears his throat) "Alright, you two go ahead. Don’t stay here making this single guy jealous with all your sweetness."

(Rup and Zoe smile and walk out to the car. Jeff watches them go, shaking his head.)

Jeff: (Muttering to himself) "Lovebirds."
