My Take on Her Last Gift
"Lily, this was absolutely wonderful. Reading your book was such an emotional journey.... I genuinely wasn’t prepared for the depth of feeling it stirred in me. The way you crafted Arjun’s character was so powerful and moving. Making him the hero and then letting him go... that took serious courage. I was devastated, in the best way possible. You really know how to tug at the heartstrings! The pacing of the story kept me hooked from start to finish. At times, I found myself wishing for just a little more breathing room to soak it all in but that’s only because I didn’t want it to end. I was fully immersed and craving more of the world you built. Overall, this was a beautiful, heartfelt read. Thank you for pouring so much emotion and creativity into your writing. You’ve created something truly special, and I’m so grateful I got to experience it. "
Her Last Gift
"This story was heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. Who knew you could feel that way toward a robot? Built out of love, yet haunted by its fate, it developed emotions and somehow became alive—only to be left all alone after everyone else had gone. The story speaks of a mother’s love and how sometimes, no matter how hard we try, nothing can replace our true love. So sad, yet beautiful."
A story that stays with you
"Just finished "Her Last Gift" and wow, I'm emotionally wrecked in the best way. This isn't your typical romance. It's deep, it's painful, and it makes you think long after you've finished reading. The concept of a mother building a robot version of her son's lost love is just heartbreaking and brilliant. The characters felt so real, especially Arjun and his struggles with love and loss. And that ending with the robot just waiting, remembering... it hit me hard. It’s a story about how far love can go, and what it truly means to be alive. It's sad, but also strangely beautiful. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something unique and powerful that isn't afraid to explore heavy themes."
