Prologue

Sara, your eyes stole the attention I had longed for in my most naive dreams. No one picked up on that signal but me and I became the only and happiest man in this bitter world because I managed to welcome your charm. The conference, was an unexpected meeting that decorated the days full of question marks that kept repeating in my head searching for the meaning of my existence and existence as a single human being. Solitude gave me deep questions about the importance of my wholeness as an individual. The need to question the meaning of love and loss. A wholeness that made me continue to wonder in confusion. I never understood the feeling of love until you came and then left forever a question mark. Nothing else could make me so naive to feel happy. Or when happiness truly felt real. Or maybe it also felt like a real illusion. If only time could be turned back and I was given the chance to meet you once again, then I would ask God to erase that mistake forever. Because meeting you was a mistake and that mistake brought regret. My regret gave me a deep wound and I forever lived in a dream that never ended. The dream that keeps bringing me forever to you, a big question mark and a bitter symbol, depicts my powerlessness as a man. Defeated by impossible hopes that continue to kill my confidence and hurt me so deeply, only to once again place my hope in empty, false, and meaningless dreams.

Sara, you are a phenomenon in the uncertainty when I have given up on love. You appear only to make it worse, and I am trapped in an endless longing that continues to torture me forever.

How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
