The Rigged Game

There Are fates interlinked and each action on east may define the Result in West.Lives are a mere token for exchange for Power and possession and no minor Power has the ability to control all this and thus To dictate terms,And have the Capacity to wage and all out war,You need to be A colossal power,And when the Stakes are high,And many stakeholders arise,There is only one guaranteed result, Destruction.

Lucknow Was Always Involved In Gang Wars And The Mafia Culture Was also Very Much Evident In the roots of The City. Every Area, Whether It be The Heart Of the City or the Most Remote Slums,The only common link between Them was The terror Of the Thakurs—The gruesome Gang which operated Throughout The City and Were A force against which No other Group Held their Grounds. The Police And Law &Order Were of No use as the Whole City Was Controlled By The Thakurs without Any objection.

They Operated In several Illegal Businesses and Controlled The whole outsourcing Of Drugs, Illegal Liquor And Unlicensed Arms And ammunitions In the city.Their Only competition In The Game of Power were the Malviyas Of Banaras,But they had overpowered Them Too,All Credits to the Extraordinary Intellect And Ruthless Attitude Of their Leader—Thakur Adhiraj Singh. His father Thakur Soumendra Singh Had Started Doing These Illegal Businesses In Some corners of the city,And over A period Of time Due to his strong Connections And Genius Tactics He was soon A well known Name in this Circuit. He then Laid the Foundation of The Thakur Group which was A White Collar Company on Paper but Everyone Knew what They were Manufacturing And Supplying from their Factories. The Group rose to Power and It soon overtook The competition By using Foul play And capitalised On the Market Which was not Yet exposed Much,As Just A decade Had passed After Partition And the Major markets for Such Criminal Activities were Still Bombay And Delhi.

Adhiraj Was Born When the Thakurs were fluent and their business empire was growing very rapidly, but just within few years the Malviyas Targeted Them And Took Control Of several Storage Houses And also blocked several of their Trade channels.Thakur Soumendra Singh Tried his best But was outnumbered By The Malviyas As they Were setting Up a well planned trap to Seize Their Affluent Business so that they Get a Well set Network of Trade along with A strong message To Delhi that Lucknow was also A territory under their control Now,and They were not Mere Pickpockets But a force To reckon With.

After Occupying several Factories And Killing a Lot of Their Men,The Malviya Head Raghunath was Now after The life Of Soumendra Singh. He Ultimately succeeded In his Hunt And Soumendra Singh was killed Brutally in front of his 4 year Old son—A sight Horrific enough to still give him Nightmares.

The thakurs Were almost Finished and reduced to Dust,But the Small Kid had seen Enough to not be a kid anymore and After spending A few years Out of Lucknow And Far from the Clutches Of Raghunath,He returned Back After 14 Years To claim the Throne Which was Built By his Father,And belonged To the Thakurs. He was not Alone as His Uncle Jagannath Singh was Also Plotting the Revenge For the destruction and Harm caused to Their Family,The humiliation and the Pain were all combined forming a Deadly Motivation To not only Dethrone them from the Markets of Lucknow but also reduce them to mere ashes,As the fire Within them was Too much to handle for Raghunath and his Men.

A young Adhiraj showed great Signs of A leader as He quickly Gathered the Weak Groups On the outskirts of the city which never dared to be involved In The tussle between The big Players as they feared that they could remove their whole existence and thus were happy from the limited Trade. But Adhiraj saw that the New Generation of them were also not happy and had resentment against The Malviyas and other Big players who had Sealed the Game for themselves leaving no scope for any potential business for the outsiders. He quickly Gathered Such Youthful Men And Armed them with the Help of his Uncle who had Arranged These Guns and ammunitions From his Sources In Delhi. They were very specific and Fully planned on when and where to attack. They first Targeted the Warehouses where The less important items such as Gunpowder,Ethanol And the common drugs were kept as they were guarded by a very meagre number of Men.Raghunath Soon came to Know about the Proceedings and was quick to take action but all in Vain,As half of his Men had already changed their Faith towards The Thakurs due to the lucrative Business sharings offered by them.Raghunath was trapped And Adhiraj was now facing The man who had killed His father brutally In front of his Eyes.

“Should’ve Gone For you too And did the Same thing that I did To your Father and Family”Raghunath said with a smile.

“Well anti climax for You,As I don’t Quite believe In Exchanging words with People Who Are not Going to speak again!” ,Roared Adhiraj.

He brought his gun out ,cocked it and fired 6 bullets into his Chest and Raghunath Lied life less on The White Floor which Was now Red with his Blood.

The Thakurs Were Back and the Leader was Now fiercer and More Powerful,A statement was Issued That The lost Reputation had been sent back and in style.

He Built A Huge Bungalow as to Show that the Lion had once again entered The den,And his Roar is Louder than ever before. The Bungalow Was named ‘Trilok Bhavan’ As his father had once quotes this as his unfulfilled wish or desire and so To fulfill it,Even if it came after his demise,He named It so.

The business Was again On track and As the 70’s Began the Thakur Group was a Renowned Name And a much feared one, because The reputation Of Adhiraj was Of a fearsome Tiger Who would do anything and Go to any extent To Completely Destroy His Enemy.

No One dared To interrupt What he said and his Words were Enough to Stir A fight across Gangs And Create A turmoil between Groups.

The business was going good But the only Problem that erupted was the excess Display Of power By the Thakur Blood,Even on his Kin and and his fellow Men.These sentiment s were clubbed with the fact That the Monopoly of Him over a large Market Was not quite liked by the People Sitting In Delhi as they were now no more able to control The pricing and were buying the Goods at a higher cost than the Malviyas as The Thakurs had promised the ir Partners To pay them more than The former.

These factors Combined Together And the Game was now Rigged Again and the Situation Still same, just the Characters had been changed and the wheel of time had moven a bit.But the times change, and when they do,they bring a lot of New situations and give birth to a lot more characters which go on to influence not only their but the lives of everyone who were involved in This Rigged Game.
