"The chapters are presented as a faintly connected or disconnected series of short stories. Only a few of chapters bother to develop characters or paint a scene. There is very little context. So the overuse of violence is rendered pointless. It’s depressing. Immature. Like a teenage boy’s underdeveloped distorted view of the world. "
