The fog never truly lifts from the small coastal town Troy once called home. It curls around the cliffs, seeps through the streets, and clings to memory like a secret that refuses to fade. Years after leaving, Troy returns, drawn back by duty, and by something he can’t yet name. What he finds is a place that looks the same but feels altered: houses leaning closer, voices he half-recognizes, strangers who seem to know more than they say. Shadows move in familiar places. Pages blur in an old journal. A laugh he thought was gone forever lingers at the edge of hearing. As past and present begin to blur, Troy struggles to untangle memory from illusion, truth from echo. But the deeper he searches, the thicker the fog grows, until even he begins to wonder if the answers lie outside of him, or within. Atmospheric and unsettling, Echoes in the Fog is a psychological thriller about memory, silence, and the shadows we can never quite outrun.
