Prolouge
It was a hot day in hell. Hey what am I saying it’s always nice here. Anyway, my name is Ashley Amanda Diablo. I am a 12-year-old demon girl with red hair and black eyes. I have a twin sister named Emily Gardenia Diablo. The only difference is she has dark purple hair. As you might have guessed my father is the devil. (yeah, I know who cares right?) so one day my sister and I were hunting hell hounds, it was one of our daily routines, when suddenly I spotted a portal.
“Hmm this portal goes to earth. Let’s check it out.” I said racing towards it.
My sister was a little daddy’s girl. She never did anything that daddy told her not to.
“But father says going to earth is forbidden. Besides remember what happened last time you brought a human to Hell. I think his name was Nathaniel.” She replied as she tried to drag me away from the portal. A tear escaped down my cheek. I knew what she was talking about but I couldn’t bring that horrible memory up right now. Instead I tore away from her and dove into the portal, leaving her behind.
As the portal transported me to earth I landed face first in a patch of tall green grass. I looked around and saw I was in Vancouver BC.
“Wow. Earth hasn’t changed a bit.” I said.
Then two human children around my age came up to me.
“Hi there. My name is Amelia Gastrais. This dummy is my brother Gage. Would you like to play soccer with us?” asked the female child. I nodded as I recalled playing this game with the human Nathaniel. We played the game and took turns kicking the ball until the sky turned black.
“Awe we have to go now or we’ll break curfew. It was nice meeting ya. Later” the boy said as he picks up the ball. We said our goodbyes as they ran towards a bunch of town houses. I hung around the park for another ten minutes then decided to go home.
As I got back to the location where the portal dropped me off, a picture of my father appeared on an oak tree. I placed my hand on the picture and was instantly transported back to hell.
“O M G you’re back... so whats it like these days?” Emily asked me as I stepped through the portal.
I began my walk to my room. “Well nothing has changed. And I went to Vancouver BC this time. It was actually kinda fun.” I replied.
She put her hands on her hips and said “Okay Ashley. Well next time you are taking me with you or else I’m telling Lucifer that you were sneaking off to earth again. Got it.” I started laughing as she looked at me confused.
“Black mail much. Of course, you’re coming with me next time. I was going to drag you with me I you had said other wise. Just don’t tell anyone the plans alright.” she nodded
So, three weeks later we went back down to the portal she wen t through first. Then I followed her. The portal brought us to the same place as it took me to last time. Only this time it was filled with humans young and old. I looked around the park until I spotted the humans I hung out with three weeks ago. I waved to them as they started to jog towards us.
“Hey guys. Whats up this is my sister Em-” I said before Emily interrupted.
“It’s Emily you pathetically weak humans” I shot her a look of horror.
“Emily be nice the creatures have whats called a self- esteem. They are very sensitive.” I said to her telepathically. Though the humans didn’t seem to mind at all. Amelia handed us a pair of hockey sticks. The teams were siblings against siblings. Meaning Emily and I vs. Amelia and Gage. When the sky grew dark the score was 17-10 human.
“You know what. Because I was rude to you earlier. I will give you two the honor of attending our birthday party at 16 hundred hours. We’ll see you then.” Emily requested as we were getting ready to depart. They nodded and we all went our separate ways.
As we stepped through the portal Lucifer was walking by the portal.
“And why did you just step through the earth portal just now?” he asked leaning over us. I looked at Emily then said
“Well uh you see Lucifer a couple of hell hounds ran through the portal so we went to go get them so they didn’t disturb the humans.” then by some miracle two hell stepped through the portal. I smiled innocently as he mimed *I’m watching you* and walked away. When he was out of earshot Emily sighed with relief.
“Well I’ll be. That was a close one. Now we’d better get to bed. We got a big day tomorrow” we hugged each other and went to our separate rooms.
We woke up the next morning to our Aunt Phobia saying
“Good morning duh-links. Did ye sleep well” we nodded as we got into our blood red corset dresses. Then we began to walk the portal.
“We should go now while everyone is busy with the party.” I said as we slipped through the portal.
Amelia and Gage were waiting for us as we stepped through the portal. When they noticed us they jumped up and smiled?
“Hey, it’s the birthday girls. Happy birthday.” they said as they handed us each a gift. I opened my gift first. Then Emily opened her. We both gasped. Inside the boxes were beautiful crystals. Mine was a crimson red color while Emily’s was a dark purple.
“O M G these are energy crystals. I’ve heard about them. They turn the color of the person’s elemental power. But how did you guys know about us?” Emily asked they shrugged and walked towards the portal.
“We know a lot of things. We are physic” Gage said. As we stepped into the portal turned to them.
“You do know we are going to hell, right?” they nodded.
As we stepped through the portal, we started walking towards the dinning hall. Amelia and Gage started whispering behind me. But I ignored them and walked through the doors. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared at us. Well stared the the humans. I looked at Aunt Phobia as she shook her head in shame. My father cleared his throat and stood up. Suddenly all the hairs on the back of my neck stood on end. As if on cue my father threw a fire fox at the humans. It ran at them at top speed. I caught it by the tail and forced the flames to crawl up my arms. Consuming the fire was extremely difficult because it was an A class flame. It was a trick I had yet to learn.
“You know the law Ashley! No humans are to be in Hell.” my father yelled. I was about to say something when I smelt something burning. I turned around just as the humans burst into flames. In no time at all they were nothing but a pile of ashes.
“NO! Why did you do that father. They were my friends.” I cried my father looking just as shocked as I was regathered himself and replied,
“Like I said you know the laws Ashley. Now go to your chamber while I fetch the blade.” he concluded. My eyes began to water. Before anyone could stop me, I ran up to my father and punched him in the nose. The impacted of the hit was so powerful it obliterated his nose. Leaving a huge bloody mess. I licked the blood off my fist like father had done so many times to others he punched. I was so mad I didn’t realize I had my demonic form out. When I did I stormed out of the room and went to my room.
As I got to my room I sat there and waited for my punishment. But I didn’t wait long, because I decided that I was moving to earth. So, I pact what little clothes I had and left my room forever. I headed towards the earth portal. My sister was waiting for me with tears rolling down her face.
“Please Ashley. Please don’t do this.” she pleaded as I got there. She tried to pull me away but I shrugged her off.
“I’m sorry Emmi but you saw what he did. I’m sick and tired of him killing my human friends. So, I’m leaving. If you wanna come then fine let’s go. But if not then this WILL be the last time you will see me.” I said coldly she shook her head and closer to me. I pushed past her and straight into the portal. I turned around to see her drop to her knees in a crying mess. I quickly turned away letting tears fall down my face. I left my home, my sister, and everything I knew, behind me and started on a new path towards the future. Not knowing where the portal would take me this time, I took a breath and didn’t look back as I continued through the portal. .
