Chapter 1 – The First Spark

The lecture hall buzzed with chatter, papers rustling, and laptops clicking, but Leo barely heard any of it. His eyes were fixed on the man at the front of the class—Professor Adrian Hale.

Adrian wasn’t the kind of professor who tried to command attention. He didn’t need to. With his calm voice, sharp suits, and the quiet intensity in his eyes, every word seemed to sink directly into Leo’s chest. The way his fingers curled delicately around a marker, the faint push of his glasses up the bridge of his nose—it was maddeningly distracting.

Leo leaned back in his chair, lips twitching into a smirk.

God, he doesn’t even know how irresistible he looks.

The other students scribbled notes, but Leo barely touched his pen. His focus was on one thing only: the way Professor Hale’s lips moved when he spoke.

By the time the lecture ended, Leo was restless. He let the other students leave before he rose from his seat, his tall frame cutting through the rows. Adrian was erasing the board when Leo’s voice cut in.

“Professor.”

Adrian turned, startled by the low, confident tone. “Leo. Shouldn’t you be heading to your next class?”

Leo ignored the question and stepped closer, closing the distance until the professor had to tilt his chin up. “You always rush off after lectures. Don’t you think that’s unfair?”

Adrian blinked, flustered. “Unfair?”

“Yeah,” Leo said, eyes locked on him. “You stand up here, talking, lecturing us… then you vanish. You don’t give me enough time to… appreciate you.”

The professor’s breath caught, and before he could respond, Leo leaned in—pressing a quick, daring kiss to the corner of his lips.

Adrian stiffened, eyes wide. “Leo—this is completely inappropriate—”

But Leo only smiled, wicked and unrepentant. “You taste even better than I imagined.”

His fingers brushed deliberately against Adrian’s wrist, lingering there with possessive warmth before he finally stepped back.

The professor’s heart hammered in his chest, torn between outrage and something far more dangerous.

“Go to your next class,” Adrian said, but his voice lacked conviction.

Leo tilted his head, smirking as though he’d already won. “I will… but don’t think you can hide from me, Professor.”

And with that, he walked out, leaving Adrian’s lips tingling with the ghost of a kiss he shouldn’t have allowed.
