This is a dark paranormal/science-fiction romance novel about a young female given the ability of pyrokinesis, who is enduring the ramifications of surviving after escaping an underground CIA-run research compound. When her path bridges with her childhood father-figure of nearly a decade ago – a man who was her rock during those haunting years in captivity – she finds that her devotion toward him is ever as present as it always had been. Her feelings toward him, however, have evolved into something he may not be able to reciprocate.
