Story 1

Winter had arrived silenty with the fall of snow. The entire Earth and its forests were blanketed in a thick white sheet. The coyote waded through the snow, its scrawny legs leaving deep imprints. The canine had left the forest and had crossed the hedges into the suburbs. All the houses were coated in snow, with yellow lights glowing from the windows. The sky was a dark blue, hidden amongst the wispy clouds. The coyote slowly made its way through the streets, observing the vicinity. It lifted its head up and a tiny snowflake stuck onto its snout.

Suddenly, it started hearing howling nearby. There were other coyotes within the area. The coyote instinctively started howling with them. People within the houses heard the commotion.

"Mommy, what was that?"

"Dear, it sounds like coyotes. Should we call animal control?"

Other people started coming out of their houses to see what the commotion was about. The coyote immediately turned around and ran away.
