Welcome to Where the Ice Melts, a story of self-discovery, hidden vulnerabilities, and a love that threatens to melt even the most guarded heart in a world full of teenage pressures and blossoming emotions.

Our story unfolds around two teenagers: the fiercely cheerful Kim Sunoo and the enigmatic and stoic Park Sunghoon. On the surface, these two couldn’t be more different. Sunoo is a bright, outgoing 10th-grader who captivates those around him with his positive energy. He makes friends easily, and his warmth draws everyone who follows him. But behind that smile, he hides complex emotions and deep compassion.

On the other hand, Park Sunghoon is an 11th-grader who walks the school hallways with grace and composure. As a talented figure skater, he focuses on his training and ambitions, often giving off a cold and aloof impression. His quiet demeanor intimidates some, but his close friends know the dedication and inner turmoil he hides behind it.

As their worlds begin to intertwine through chance encounters and inevitable meetings, Sunoo finds himself irresistibly drawn to Sunghoon. Their initial interactions are filled with awkwardness, but Sunoo is determined to crack Sunghoon’s defensive exterior. Sunghoon is bewildered and baffled by Sunoo’s constant cheerfulness, but he cannot avoid him. Sunoo brings light into Sunghoon’s strict life, and Sunghoon provides Sunoo with unexpected strength and stability.

As the story unfolds, Sunoo and Sunghoon face the challenges and trials of high school while exploring their feelings. Social expectations, personal insecurities, and the vulnerability of relationships can overwhelm them. But as their connection deepens, it empowers them and guides them to accept who they really are.
