Captivating, well written
"I hate the ending, I absolutely hate it. It's beautiful and captivating and I'm honestly mad at you because of it. You're a unique writer with an equally unique writing style. Perhaps I'm just used to fist person with a present/past tense story telling. It was definitely different to stay in present tense the entire time, but it's nice to be put out of my comfort zone a bit. This was a well written, pleasure fueled, tension building novel that truly left me eager to read until the end. I'm not a hopeless romantic and yet, I was cheering for their success. Hoping you weren't going to drag my expectations down. And you didn't, not really. Well, maybe kinda sorta... This is a memorable story, one that will sit at the back burner of my mind for years to come. One that I'd buy now that I've read it, so that I can go back to it and read it again, long after this app erases it. There's something captivating not only in how you tell the story, but how you build the characters, charge the sexual tension, guide a lost reader like me by the nose. Fill my mind with the dangerous desire of complete, willing surrender. I hate that it's over, the writer in me can't stand the finite end, the final dot that seals a book. It shakes my own inability to change an outcome, to fix it and make it last. But there is a calmness in not having that control...an emptiness... A vulnerability. I hate this feeling, yet understand it's importance. I haven't been able to finish my own book for fear of that final period. Somehow, you have unintentionally forced me to confront my own barrier in writing. That feeling of it not being perfect, that fear of it coming to an end. I'm not sure how, i know this is pointless ramblings of an internet stranger, and yet i feel compelled to thank you. Thank you for making me uncomfortable. I'm a little disappointed we never got to see what happens in that unmarked room with nothing but padding, chains, cuffs and an interesting chair. But that's a forgivable sin, you tease. All in all, I'm helpless when it comes to strong, dominant women. So, I'm fully sold on this story. You're an excellent, intelligent writer and this book is well worth the torrent of emotions, aches, investment, and tears. Every story has flaws, and yet none of them were pressing enough to mention. Devotion and forever
"This is a great love story, well written with excellent and believable relationship and spice development. The background is brutal and there is a theme of extra judicial retribution against male violence and oppression. It echoes the rage that many must feel about Epstein clients and Me Too perpetrators. At the extreme end is the Darrel Cozens murder of Sarah Everard but the backdrop is the appalling sloth and low conviction rate of abusers in UK, the treatment of murdered sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman, the sleazy micro aggressions, groping and stares. Alexey and Victoria's story reflects devotion and justice served"

"I couldn't stop reading. I neglected my chores just to see what's next. Really didn't expect this ending. Was hoping Victoria comes back. But that's what makes it diffirent and so good. "
