A Glimpse of Hope That Hurts
"Just finished this and I'm kinda shook. The whole thing felt so vivid and real, like I was right there with Johnny in that weird future-school in space. It's funny, it really hit home for me because I'm actually writing a sci-fi story myself, about a planet where people have moved beyond greed and suffering. So reading this felt like stumbling upon a kindred spirit. The part with the stretching device and the golden rolling creature? So cool and creative. But that ending... that crushing sadness when he had to come back to our messy world. It’s the same bittersweet vibe I'm trying to capture. This story just gets it. It’s a beautiful, punch-in-the-gut read that makes you yearn for something better and honestly, gives me a boost to keep working on my own thing. Maybe we're not so alone in dreaming up better worlds."
Brilliant Storytelling
"The author captured my attention immediately. I've read many of his writings and consider him one of the best storytellers. He grabs your hand and brings you into his world. He uses the five senses when writing. You feel what he feels. This story should be a movie. The ending found me in tears. I highly recommend any of his works."
